NVIDIA ‘Ampere’ 8nm Graphics Cards

I'm not sure the OcUK site accessibility was entirely due to people trying to get 3080s - there was a DDOS attack against some social media servers (which also took out some other sites) ongoing at the same time which I wonder if their servers were close to.

Not sure if it was related to the tiktok acquisition or something.

Some interesting comments elsewhere about how the 3000 launch has been timed to try to pump the stock for the ARM buyout, as the majority of it is a share purchase deal and the value point is now. So thus the rushed released from starting manufacturer last month/no stock/minimal effort FE situation.

i ordered the msi, eta says tomorrow and i managed to bag it before the price increases. Order currently says "New order - awaiting payment status" hopefully it goes through

WOW, the usual greedy BAST*^&s are now on fleebay flogging them for silly money, just seen one on bids at over 900 now... insane... what are people thinking, seriously...

The FE cards are now just gonna be bought by bots. No real person is going to monitor when they randomly come in and out of stock.

It's not the sellers fault people are bidding that high.

Most ending soon have been bid into the thousands though by people trying to ruin the listing.

Failed to get an FE like everyone else.
Needed a card for watercooling so was a little limited. Decided to go Inno3D X2, but gonna have to wait for delivery. But at least status shows "Order received - not yet shipped".
Why have so many manufacturers decided to not keep the reference board!? Would have gone Asus or Gigabyte for sure, for quicker stock.
Paid 649 though (2:29PM), which has now crept up £30. Seems like a lot of the cards have gone up £30 since launch. And there was plenty of price creeping before then too! Disappointing behavior.
