NVIDIA ‘Ampere’ 8nm Graphics Cards

So some of you laugh, joke and slap each other on the back bragging about how much you sold you 2080ti's for then get all mad when people try and resell 3080's on ebay.

Oh I also like how some 3080's are getting close to 2080ti retail pricing. :D

I think is clear by now nvidia did this mess just to "release" their cards before AMD. They never had sufficient stock or any FE ready. What a joke.

I feel like my decision to wait for AMD and decide later what card to get is the right choice .

Be happy with currect GPU ( keep telling myself that lol )

Ive noticed a lot of these Ebay scalpers also sell overpriced trainers must be quite lucrative business although for the life of me what's the big deal with having fancy trainers i just wear any old crap on my feet.

Yup, desperation launch.
What's going to be funny, is all the posters who said, "I'm not waiting till October for AMD to show their hand, I'm buying now."

Well, seems nVidia had other plans :p

Good luck getting a 3080 before AMD launch theirs :p

AMD need solid stock and scalper protection. Hearts and minds now...

I wonder what the true cost £ of todays messup would actually be. There will genuinely be 1000's out there who will now not buy at all...

No, the world needs less idiots. Idiots with some actual patience.

Something really similar happened to the BMX collector community about six months ago. A company called S&M re released their 1995 Classic Dirt Bike in a collaboration with Supreme in very limited numbers.

They sold out instantly, and there are still three on the bay going for £6500 - £12000. None have sold. It's called control. Of yourself, and your actions.

Sorry to say it but idiots are on the rise. Its why I refuse to bring a child into this world. But now we are going off topic :D

'People have steadily been turned into consumer sheep, ever since the early part of the last century, the digital age has simply globalized and accelerated the process of consumption in our lives.'

'We're a civilization of consumers and not much else alas.'

I see it in myself and not something I am proud of but over time I have learned to temper it, plus my bank account said I had to.
