Got two hopefully. The site is all over the place but now OOS. Christ I'm too old for this stress this early in the morning, my wife was carrying on as if she was on the final leg of the tour de france :D
 
Well since Amazon weren't listing the games yet I ordered my games from shopto but consol from Amazon

Got myself a mix of genre ended up with spider man, sackboy and went for destruction all stars, looks like it could be a modern destruction derby.

Them with PS Plus collection will keep me busy least until I can get Ratchet and Clank, FIFA and cod but with games now costing more I'll have to be abit more selective

I think Sony will be cranking them out as fast as possible, they've seen everywhere sell out in minutes, I wouldn't be surprised if they made more available for pre-order in October.
 
I'm not even sure if it's a shortage of stock or if it's the demand is just really high.

Likely a mix of both.

Every website that's gone live has started to and then has fallen over with excess traffic.

I had a registered interest with shopto and that allowed me (once the website stopped acting up) to log in and confirm it for a pre order but god knows if that will actually turn up.

It's been a little crazy.

I remember the ps4 pre orders went out of stock but more were allocated a week or so later (that's when I managed to get mine).
 
Sony have said they have more stock than PS4.

I didn't have any issues getting a PS4 or recall seeing this many people struggling to get one which makes me think it is more demand than stock issue
 
So why are people on here getting multiple systems? Looking for scalping opportunities?

I didn't get one but it irritates me that every time something comes out scalpers strike you can guarantee there will be thousands on eBay probably already at double markup or latest day after release.

I think some of the people buying two will be genuine e.g. maybe a father wants his own and son wants one.

However vast majority will just be trying to make quick buck to sell on eBay which I disagree with as it's morally wrong but same time not illegal and if some one is dumb enough to pay an inflated cost more fool them
