NVIDIA ‘Ampere’ 8nm Graphics Cards

You are obviously not a teenager :)
Well, obviously caring about what you wear is not limited to teenagers. Anyone who "wears any old crap on their feet", with all of the connotations that this very specific statement entails for the rest of their wardrobe, likely does not take much pride in their personal appearance. :p

Could have been bots attacking the websites, since trying to my order in elsewhere, Now when you log in you have to press a CAPTCHA confirmation button which I never did before so maybe just maybe some may still get confirmation of shipping today from some of the retailers.

One thing is for sure it's the worst experience of trying to purchase a product I've ever had, The next time they announce a GPU if they don't open pre orders straight away like they have in the past but instead decide to open sales on actual release day globally then they can sit on my middle finger.

Jeez, finally the internet is restored.

yesterday was an absolute disaster, I had the instant switch from “notify” to “out of stock” on nvidia website and every retailer was down.
Bloody dreadful.

Sorry to say it but idiots are on the rise. Its why I refuse to bring a child into this world. But now we are going off topic :D
It's the duty of every intelligent and rational person to produce an intelligent and rational child to counterbalance the increasing levels of idiocy. Otherwise, it will only get worse. :p

I think is clear by now nvidia did this mess just to "release" their cards before AMD. They never had sufficient stock or any FE ready. What a joke.

Yup, unfortunately they are not a particularly ethical or honest corporation even by the standards of the industry. :(

Ive noticed a lot of these Ebay scalpers also sell overpriced trainers must be quite lucrative business although for the life of me what's the big deal with having fancy trainers i just wear any old crap on my feet.

You are obviously not a teenager :)

Yeah I can't get past why my son wants specific trainers that cost 2 or 3 time what mine cost :D
As long as they look tidy and are comfy job done. I'll spend my money on electronics :o

I’m more inclined to think Nvidia are worried about Big Navi than pumping stocks to buy ARM.

On the fence about cancelling my pre-order and waiting for Big Navi but then again we don’t know if the stock and sales process will be any better for AMD.

Pretty sure yesterday was the shoddiest launch of a GPU I've ever seen.
I've bought GPU's/CPU's on launch day before, I get the low stock (Albeit Gibbo hinted at having at least a good amount of stock), but I've never seen the site die so no one can buy one lol.

I bought a new 1000W PSU last week and am stuck with a 2080 for a month now. I don’t believe they ever had stock to begin with. This was a paper launch, plain and simple. I hope AMD is taking notes on how NOT to do a product launch.

Yea it was pretty shoddy, more people want GPUs than ever before and NVidia doing paper launches to beat AMD to the punch.
I have my ASUS 3080 TUF OC pre ordered and I am holding onto my order until I get it, it gets some really nice reviews!

You should be happy to be stuck with a 2080, it is good you kept it until after you get the card.

Yeah except I was really looking forward to playing Horizon Zero Dawn and Crysis remastered at Max settings. I will just have to stop looking at all those 3080 gameplay videos on YouTube

Yeah I noticed that card is getting a lot of love from the reviewers.

Basic, solid, good cooling, not too expensive.
