Looks like I blew my chance getting a pre order, was planning on Argos as last resort but by the time I finished my night shift they where sold out.
The pre order process has been a shambles it looks like Sony gave no instructions to retailers and they chose their own times, Game was virtually after the reveal finished, Amazon and others 9am next morning and now Argos today.
Looks like I will flip my original plan on getting ps5 first then xbox, will pre order xbox instead on Tuesday and get PS5 later on....tbh I think xbox game pass offers better value atm compared to £70 per game ps5

I would keep trying. I was getting out of stock and persevered and kept refreshing then it was magically in stock again.

The argos page was showing not available earlier but is loading now so chances are not all thier stock has gone.

Just got an email from Curry's saying they'll have more stock at 1pm.

Edit: Actually says 12pm on the email but there's a timer on it that works out at 1pm!?

don't forget when PS4, launched it went OOS really fast but then after a week or so all retailers kept getting more and more shipments and it ended up easy to get after the initial surge within a short space of time.
It wouldn't surprise me if shipments were staggered on purpose to drive the 'hard to get' hysteria.

Yeah, that should be just for the day one deliveries as their normal system would get swamped. Glad I decided to wait a bit.

Well, with Argos' website being so flakey this morning I've ended up with 6 pending transactions. Nothing in my Argos account mind you, just loads of transactions on my card. My wife has a confirmed pre-order so we've at least got one and if any of the others go through I'll just stick them on the MM here at face value, I've no intention of scalping.

That said, some of the people scalping on ebay already... £650, mental. Hope nobody buys them.

i have 3 pending transactions for the headset with no confirmed order, quite annoying as they are in holding stage with my bank so now i cant access the money! i do hope i dont end up with 3 headsets lol, i also would sell them at market value if that happened.
