People need to chill out i understand its frustrating but come on, what did you expect? Literally every retailer crashed with the amount of people trying to buy one. The site was never going to update properly and survive the onslaught. At least Gibbo is trying to get info and was on here past midnight replying to people
 
Getting an idea of ETA on pre-orders would be really useful at the moment. The card I ordered said stock would be arriving today (18th), and at the time I took that to mean that I would get one of those, but is that true? If not it would be great to know an estimate, or to know that OC don't have an estimate - either way we can make a judgement on waiting or cancelling the order and seeing about going elsewhere.

I'd sooner stay with OC having used them for years but don't want to wait without knowing what I'm waiting for.

I ordered mine at 14.25 yesterday (email confirmation) the same card too Zotac, when I was ordering it had a shipping date of Oct 9th, not sure if thats accurate but im just going to sit and wait for my card, cant see any point now in cancelling and spending ages looking for another just to get a few days earlier or if at all.
Last time I bought from here it was 2016 with the 1080s. Had no issues so I have every faith

God awful launch by Nvidia, if only RDNA2 were sooner, would def get that, even if less performance.

I am collating information and an official statement shall be made later, in short people need to be very patient and wait on NVIDIA to ramp up supply which is going to take sometime and as I find out more it shall be posted online, Sales/CS have no idea at the moment until I pass information to them and when I do that it shall be online at same time or here first. :)

Thanks for the update. Can you at least clarify if there is a chance that an order will be still sent today? Like a lot of people said, we ordered with an indication of stock yesterday or today and no one is telling us whether our order is being fulfilled or not. I for one, would like to know and you should be able to tell people I think? This helps in considering whether it's useful to leave the order placed or maybe cancel.
 
Why is it impossible to just cancel an order on your website? It seems like a basic feature of an e-commerce site and yours doesn't have it :mad:

I am in a same boat, got the conformation, money left and got the OCUK conformation email also, but no delivery information, I guess we just need to wait :)
 
I placed a pre-order on OC for the ASUS TUF earlier today having spent yesterday with my mind set on the FE. However, throughout the day I heard reports of substantial coil whine which put me off. I then spent the afternoon reading up on the partner cards and settled on the one I ordered. It should just about fit my case as it's only 1.7mm more wider than my current 2070 super. TBH I'm grateful for the **** show by Nvidia as it allowed me to make a more informed decision instead of rushing into it. As for whinging about stock levels, fluctuating prices, cards not being delivered on a silver platter etc. First World issues. Take your time OC, your service is always top notch and this isn't a reflection on your business.
 
Right so now we've established that an ecommerce site in 2020 can't process orders or send emails out of hours, instead relying on somebody manually sending it, what about the £50 price increase between when I ordered and what I've been charged?

I had a price increase from what it was meant to be pre launch but the price was clearly displayed when ordered?
 
Thing is, in these current times, covid is an easy blame.
A game is released late - covid
A patch is released late - covid
Hotdogs don't taste like they did last year - covid

So, NVIDIA can come quite easily push out this car crash of a launch that has caused carnage not only for themselves but resellers and of course its covid fault. Naturally.

Just have to wait and see how much stock they actually have, which I am expecting is going to be a chasm away from the qty ordered, but hey the bottom line looks good for them now.

Resellers are then left to pick up the collateral carnage left in the wake.

Patience is not a problem.
I can just imagine how busy the OCUK staff are at the moment playing catch up.
 
I placed an order at 15:10 yesterday, with a success page and confirmation from Amazon Pay (but payment was still pending). Got told twice from OC that my order will be fine, only to be told today that it will just expire and be canceled.

If I place an order now, I will be right at the back of the queue and have to pay more for the card.

I'm probably best waiting for the dust to settle, not sure if ordering right now will be worth it.

Same here. Ordered 15:13 yesterday and confirmation from AmazonPay. Payment still pending, although never even received order confirmation. I'm quite patient so happy to wait but it'd be great if I knew whether there is an order at all or not.

Fully in agreement with this comment. People I imagine will be patient but the clear information after the strong indication of stock is required. I prefer honesty rather than vague information.
 
I'm from the Netherlands and the stock at Dutch retailers also blew out in about 15 minutes, websites went down, similar picture. These retailers however let people know whether their card is still in stock or not. They sent out e-mails last night and today informing people about this, even letting hem know which positition in queue they're on if they let their pre-order stand. I think this is normal and to be expected of any retailer, communication.

You might need to get in contact with customer support. I was in same boat, I queried with AmazonPay as mine was sat on pending too and they cancelled the order due to a technical glitch where order didn't process with OC. I then decided to just re order this morning even with the price increase. I then added the reorder to my customer support ticket and asked if I can have my Q spot and refund on price difference.

They are able in my case to refund the difference but not put me back in my Q position :(. That's as far as I have got.

This is my situation and yours could be different but thought would let you know just encase your waiting on something that will never come off pending ! :(.
 
Did anyone who ordered a gigabyte eagle get a dispatch email?

I ordered one as that was one that was in stock and managed to place my order at 14:05 so just wondering how fast you had to be to actually get one dispatched today?
 
Hello gentlemen. Question, I pre ordered an Asus tuf 3080 at 17:47 yesterday, got the " order received- not shipped yet " statues. Be honest with me how far down am I on the waiting list? and when do you expect the card to be shipped for me.
