Anyone managed to actually get through on the phones to query 3080 purchases?

Holy crap that’s a lot of cash, some retailers are refusing to even take orders now

Talk about pent up demand. I’ll tell you this is the ripple effect from mining during Pascal era and Turing being a rip-off along with Covid 19 its like a perfect storm

It's 2020 and people are waiting on the phone along with every other numpty following one of the most ridiculously over-subscribed launch possibly in the history of gaming in the hope they can get through to speak to someone? You know OCUK is a computer shop not an Indian call centre?

Send a support ticket/e-mail and stop wasting your damn time.

Or you could look at it as a lot of hard earned money that people have paid with no information about their order.

Still no excuse to down right abuse a staff member on the phone. It's not like the low level sales guys have had any power or sway in then events leading up to this.

+1. Don't call OCUK guys, be realistic. They have tens of thousands of orders, and Nvidia haven't supplied them with enough cards for even a tenth of those. On top of that, their website was attacked by multiple bot networks, in an effort to secure as much 3080 stock as possible.

If you call, they can't answer your query today. Wait for their refund/query system to launch, give them a break. We all knew the risks when placing orders, we all know the funds are taken immediately from our cards. We ordered at OCUK as they are the biggest/best UK supplier.

 NVIDIA isn't supplying any cards the AIBs are. NVIDIA are exclusively selling their cards themselves.

Saw in another thread someone 'quoting' that OCUK had 30,000 orders for 3080 yesterday with 2000 stock (which is very good for stock).....30,000 orders @ six fiddy .........~£20M

That 30000 / 2000 number was just an example to make a point .... that person has no knowledge.

Well seeing as there were 1700 orders just for the MSI gaming Trio...not too unbelievable. Though I didn't click that the 30000/2000 thing was an example - my bad
