That's back-orders, right? Because I would have expected them to have had at least that many - and probably more like 100k - in the channel already.

I think so, reading round on the internet people say it's working with the Samsung's now.

But I don't have that TV so can't confirm 100%.

It is working with mine which is an older model though so don't see why it wouldn't work on yours.

Have you tried 4K HDR (60hz) + fast sync over 60 fps?

It was the Zotac Germany twitter that came from, but I thought I read that was in response to amazon.de orders they had or something?

The store shouldn't have allowed that many pre-orders, and Zotac's also now taken their own direct U.S. store offline lol.

I have been playing red dead redemption with all the settings turned up at 1440p 120hz with HDR on and gsync. It was around 90-100fps, the lowest was 75fps.

I played a couple of hours of streets of rage at 4k 60hz (non HDR game) and it felt very nice having gsync so much more responsive now Vs my gtx 1080.

What is fast sync? I couldn't see an option for it.
 
This 3080 is an absolute beast.

Need for speed is locked to 60fps at 4k HDR with everything max settings.

My 1080 would be dropping to 40fps at high settings 1440p.
