Who's waiting for the 3090 and which brand are you getting?

Going from a 2080ti->3080 is 30% faster for £800
Going from a 2080ti->3090 is ~45/50% faster for £1500
50% is almost twice 30%, and £1500 is almost twice £800
Using man maths here for something I'm trying to justify it all makes perfect sense :)

Exactly the same for me - and probably many others!!
 
I shouldn't be spending this much on a GPU, its a terrible idea, I'll probably regret it when RDNA2 comes out...

....therefor Murphys' Law dictates that I will in fact Bag one. LOL :D
 
Like most of you, I'm disappointed that the jump in performance from the 2080 Ti to 3090 isn't bigger. Still, the gap widens considerably with RTX games like Control. This is the main selling point for me. I expect this performance increase to become more pronounced as RTX evolves to be an integral part of future games.
 
Yeah, but if I have a 2080ti then the 3080 is *only* 30% faster. So that's 30% faster (for me) for £800.
If I have a 2080ti then the 3090 is 45%-50% faster. So that's 45-50% faster (for me) for £1500.
Its man maths, its not meant to make sense other than to justify something you already want :)
