Also to add regarding the pricing of the ASUS Strix cards here is what they are mean't to cost right from NVIDIA's site... and go compare what the gouging prices are..
Don't pay more than what they go for... time to stop this behaviour now of the e-tailors gouging their customers that keep them in business and worst part to hiding what is even in stock, so they bank your money for months before you may see what you paid for and by then the prices would have come right back down. It's got really silly now, I see now why so many have flocked to consoles and have seen the light. Pay for a GPU now costs the same as every single next gen system put together and still have money left over and not have to deal with gouging none stop. They pay MSRP for consoles and I have never seen them in stores or e-tailors cost anything more than MSRP even when the £ rates change or they have very few in stock. It's become unreal and us PC buyers need to stop this happening and pay where they sell them at MSRP.. I'm fuming now 2 weeks now trying to get a card and screwed at every corner, I had many e-tailors open and some had good amount of cards but none I wanted and some even at MSRP for most of their cards, the usual suspects were price gouging of course and I was never going to pay even if they had the card I wanted. Ok rant over, people that got their card they wanted I'm happy for you, ones that are stuck on preorder for many weeks maybe get a refund when it doesn't appear on the promised dates and don't leave your money collecting interest in someone else's bank, so basically you are giving them more money for that product.. like it's not priced high enough with all the added reasons why they shot up over £200 in some cases... Companies that do that will loose me as a customer until I see prices are in line with reality.
