Well I managed to bag myself 2x ASUS 3090 ROG STRIX OC's !! :D

Of course I'll have to wait for the 5th October for them to actually arrive, but my contact confirmed I was #1 and #2 (me and missus) in the order queue, yum yummy!

I saw it go live between 13:56 and 57.... clicked just had the square , when I hit refresh let me order gutted... but hope I'm in the 1st batched shopped here since I was 15 lol

Wow congraz on you're over priced cards guys ha...... I'd love for one of you to explain to me how you come to the decision to pay an extra £250 / 300 for some flashes RGB lights and 1 FPS gain over the FE in 4k gaming ? I'm confused. enlighten me,

How do you know you are 15th?

I was trying that unofficial guide where I can be..but I guess its counting 3080 and 3090 strix oc as one... my number was around 1400... lol

Came from 2x 1080Ti SLI. - I skipped the 20 series cards specifically to go for the next generation (30 series), didn't want to get a 3080 10gb as that will be superceded by the 3080 Ti/Super next year and I wanted the card with the highest number of RT cores for 4k RTX gaming.

I also specifically wanted one of the OC (potentially bin 3) cards with 3x 8pin power plugs, as I'm planning to watercool my card (oh no, even more money!) and manually overclock as high as it can go...

Plus I'm not one of these "poor people" that has to justify my every purchase.

If people have the money and can afford the costs then good on them!
 
Anyone an idea or guess when first batch of 3090 MSI Gaming X will be shipped ? Was quite early might be lucky and got one, but a bit confused about when the first batch will be ready.
