I was one of the lucky ones and somehow got an order in which has since shipped! I can assure you that mine will happily be installed into my pc once it arrives. It is sad to see people asking £2500 for a card on eBay. Worrying thing is there probably will be one or two people who will buy them at that price if money is no object to them.

For those waiting for a Strix card, there was no stock anywhere in the UK as far as I can tell. Secondly, none of the usual review outlets have them in for review. The good news is that means stock is simply yet to arrive anywhere in the world most likely, and therefore a shipment is incoming.

Another interesting nugget is that ASUS has marked the card as ‘In stock’ at various UK resellers, which suggests to me it has shipped stock to them. The fact it has not been received, then, means our wait could well be short! No free game with the 3090 by the looks of it. I also have a pre order in with OCUK for a 3080 and I was eligible for the game with it although order was not in till 1513. Going to cancel that order though once my 3090 arrives.

Had a Strix OC in my basket at 1402 but then had website crashes. Got busy at work so probably missed my chance of being anywhere decent on a preorder queue now if I was to proceed. From what I've read there was no stock or ETA anyway so I may just wait until post November and see how the stock situation looks then.

Took at least 3 attempts to pay for the card as the basket page kept crashing.

Asus Strix 3090 OC

GamersNexes ripped the 3090 FE card, but I like to make my own judgements and not worry about other people's opinions or even the current benchmarks.

Over the years I've watched VRAM requirements go up and up and I don't what there to be a point where 10GB might not be enough at 5120x1440 or above. I'll be keeping this card for at least 4 years so I want to future proof myself for at least that time period and not restrict myself to 10GB VRAM.

Coming from a STRIX 08G GTX 1080, I am Hopeful the 3090 is enough to drive my Odyssey G9.

It's weird because other retailers are offering:

Yes I did wonder but at no stage did overclockers say it would come with the 3090. Hopefully as you say if they get more codes in they might ping them our way.

Not an oversight but a realistic setting of expectations...

The Nvidia offer is only valid for redemptions up to 30/11/20, and you need the card installed to redeem the offer...

Right now they cannot be sure that they will have delivered the cards by that date, even if they can get the codes from Nvidia.

Better to not advertise it and be able to 'surprise' people with a code than to promise it and then be unable to deliver in time for the offer to be redeemed...
