What is interesting about this thread is the number of people who don't care what anyone else thinks regarding spending £1,700 on a GPU! and this doesn’t even count the people who have ordered but not posted here!
I presume every other retailer that took orders yesterday could produce a similar list.
General commentary regarding this card is it is not worth it. Well plenty of people seem to disagree

I see a few people had their orders updated for Oct 5th dispatch. Ordered at 2:01pm on the dot and nothing :/. I only waited a few moments to check the FE cards
I think someone mentioned earlier that if this is your main hobby and you dont want to buy a 3080 only to have a better version come out 6 months later then its still reasonable to buy it. It is after all people's own money and cost per performance is still better (in some cases) than having a card that will be usurped in 6 months time?
Can i just say i am not this guy lol!

How's the fan noise out of curiosity? Been reading that at full load it's pretty loud.

Agreed (I was one of the people who bought a 3090 Strix OC). I can't see how a 3080 20GB is going to have more than 10% on the 3080 10GB and who knows when it will be available. I have no regrets at all (other than I really wanted FE).
