I have now managed to get scan to confirm to me that they expect pre orders to be fulfilled within 2 months and that my order is towards the back of the queue.

They were very reluctant to give any info until i explained that I'm not bothered how long i will be waiting, I just wanted to know my queue position seeing as they had £1700 of my hard earned.

Really frustrating as this is the final piece in my new build......I'm really reluctant to put my 980 in for the time being. But hopefully it'll be ready for Christmas and after the way this year has gone, that's a small miracle in itself

What time was your order? Mine was 2:19pm but for a Zotac at 1399 . Scan are naughty because when you order they give a pre order ETA . However that ETA is when they are expecting next stock deliveries and not when your specific order will be filled. I expect my Amazon order that I only placed yesterday which has an ETA of 21st October-20th November will come first

The confirmation email came in at 14:12 but then in the order tracking it says order received at 15:50......so who knows!

mines the ROG Strix OC......like everyone else!

I know and the amount of newbies on here complaining that Scan were giving them better info and they were honestly expecting Scan to supply all the cards bought by the 28th September.

I have my EVGA XC3 Ultra 3090 preordered with SCAN at 15.02 confirmed. They just now have refreshed the delivery dates expecting the cards and they say it's delayed to the 7th-9th of October.

I do not see how AIBs will be able to fulfill all these orders before end of November really. I am really thinking here that NVidia just pulled the carpet underneath their feet, trying to catch up to any potential threat from AMD. Since big Navi is pretty much what it is in the new consoles, NVidia had pressure. And they wanted their product to "be available" asap, so AIBs just did not have enough time to even be remotely close to an acceptable stock available from them.

2020 has been a weird year, with online purchases reaching all time highs. This was a clean indicator of how the launch will go, plus the bots, plus the online systems from retailers, plus the extreme interest from a mediocre (to say the least) 20xx RTX generation of GPUs, plus stay/work from home creating artificial numbers of customers that we would never see any other time. It's all the perfect storm really.

So my guess is that, yes, although all retailers "work closely with NVidia", it's just a matter of where the AIBs ship their cards first. I just hope that the UK market will have a bit of better luck, as financially is a bit better to send hardware to than the US. But that's just me, with my limited amount of knowledge.

I just hope we all get our cards and post photos and brag and have a ********* good time, for once this year.

They can build a lot of cards and quickly but production isnt really going to get going until after the big holiday over there and then they have to come in shipping containers via sea.

So by November, uk retailers will be taking delivery of 2,3 maybe 500 of one brand of card in a deliver, Until then AIBS are flying via small shipments out, 10 - 50 at a time. gibbo said that until November cards would only ever come in in small quantities eg less than 50 at a time.

I have always said that it will be luck if there are 10,000 cards in customer hands by end of October but that doesnt stop 500,000 being delivered in November.

I've cancelled my 3090 order (well put through the request) for the Palit Gaming Pro so that's one less person. OC4045492.

Managed to secure a Palit 3080 so bowing out for the 90 :)

I don't doubt it. I work in logistics for a company manufacturing navigation systems and we must kick about 1k units through the production line every week and that's just a small site. I would imagine AIB manufacturers knock out a lot more than that
