Wonder if Sc*n & ocuk are on the same delivery schedule. Sc*n are showing Asus expected to be delivered this week, hoping it's the same for ucuk too.

Late myself: been lurking in this thread and wasn't including mine as thought OC was going to be producing an official one. Anyway, mine:

I snagged a Tuf OC from another site at like 14:02 but more I thought about it the more I figured I would wait for the Strix given the increased power delivery (who knows if that is even going to matter now), but I'm coming from Pascal and waited this long so can wait some more. I'm going in with the end of November as all likelyhood when I see one.

I originally ordered a 3080 and cancelled, so here's my late entry also gents.

Interesting. Looking at the spreadsheet, you're #1 by order number, but not by order time. I wonder where this discrepancy comes from.

I can't say specifically for OCUK, but the sites I have experience with as a developer work like this:

Add a product to your basket -> you are assigned a quotation number at that point (not yet an order number) of say #123456

When you complete checkout, this quotation number becomes the order number, and the order time is the checkout completed time.

This is how the "discrepancy" usually works (in a simplified workflow) and hence why order time is more important than order number. On the sites I have developed, if you don't checkout for a week (for example) then you can have an order number that is a fair bit behind other customers either side of you and the "discrepancy" appears larger still.

Still following the adventures of the 3090 thread - even though I am now on the 3080 train. It will be interesting to see when I would have gotten the card. Hope those with recent deliveries are not shy of showing them in the owners thread!

Just had confirmation from the retailer I used that they have mine in and I'lll get it on Sunday or Monday I went for the msi 3090 obviously I can't say which retailer it was.

They've also given me my watch dogs key

Might as well throw my details in :)

Asus RTX 3090 ROG Strix Gaming OC
Order date: 23 Sep 2020 15:18:00
Order number: OC4045372

I have no idea why it's showing the order date as 23rd! I reckon there's been a booboo somewhere!

Anyone crowing on about 'How can you spend so much on this for the performance over the 3080?!" — just point them at 14:40 on this Linus video. Perfect explanation. He totally gets it.

This 2020 has been a strange year. To that list I would add the user that needs to work from home until the end of all this and requires a machine that is reasonably powerful to prepare things before they are sent somewhere else. I was quite forced to switch from my conventional gaming rig to something a bit more beefy and, although the 2080Tis are nice, they have little RAM and this still a problem :( . Getting a previous generation Titan was out of question, since I knew that the replacemente would come soon, so I decided to stick to conventional cards and wait for the 3090.
