Just jumped from 500 to 1000Mbps (Gigabit) powerlines, getting 145Mbps now vs 90 before, rock on!

With the terrible wiring in my house powerlines are woeful. I ended up running external CAT5e which was probably cheaper than the more expensive powerline kits (the bloke did it for about £50)
So presumably you understand you’re paying for a gigabit connection and getting about 14% of what you paid for, but you’re happy it’s crap?

No not at all....I have got 150Mbps at the router, so really pleased new powerline has given me a good speed boost.
* wish I did have 1 gig broadband!
