yah thats fine am not moaning about getting it quicker just was woundering should i sell the rtx2080ti now

Now that the cards are out the value of your 2080ti won’t change much if at all. My advice is eBay it the day you receive your card or shipping confirmation. Unless of course you’re desperate for the money, in which case think about whether you can do without any card and for how long, or stick a 1060 in there for cheap and play medium settings at 1080p for a bit.

yah dont really want to wait that long but at same time what can you do nvidia should have been more ready for this after i bought the rtx3090 lot people to me i was daft and they where prob right as its only really 5-10% better than 3080 i only game so 3090 was more 3d stuff but i am committed now lol

This. I sold my 2080ti 6wks ago and have been without since. I held off grabbing a 3090 until today to avoid the gouging and BIG queues. I was aiming for a Strix too but managed to secure a Trio today so changed my mind. I expect the Strix to be the most popular card here at Ocuk so hopefully you'll get it this year. The 2080ti still has legs so keep it as long as you need.

The ASUS ROG Strix has an exceptional VRM and the highest power delivery (480w) of any AIB 3090. The net result is (at 4K) it averages 21% faster than the 3080, and 60% faster than the 2080ti. https://www.techpowerup.com/review/asus-geforce-rtx-3090-strix-oc/6.html

Forget what you’ve read about 5-10%, it does not apply to your card.

Strix OC just seems to be the more powerful AIB GPU in tests.
Like said above by Gypsum_Fantastic probably because of 480 watt delivery (3x 8pin pcie).
It also doesn’t seem to have the dodgy caps ( I don’t fully understand the whole cap situation )
But some cards with “dodgy” caps are crashing when they clock over 2 GHZ.
If I understand correctly the cap situation doesn’t affect 3090’s as much as 3080’s as I THINK 3090’s only clock to around 1.8ghz someone correct anything I’ve said that is wrong.

@Gypsum Fantastic like others have said ,it's value won't change much in the time it takes to get a new card. So as long as you have something to hold you over until then. If you're not too fussed about not gaming for a while just sell it, but if you have an igpu you could always play older/2d games to pass the time. Or if you really need something in-between just keep it until the new card comes. Either way up to you, depends on how badly you need your gaming fix haha. I sold my 1080 in my htpc and one of my 2 1080ti's, i'm keeping the better overclocker to do me until my 3090 shows up, then i'll just put it in the htpc everyone gets an upgrade XD

There is a list compiled somewhere in this thread by Sarah wild with the order numbers people have given here just to give us some rough idea. I will look back through thread and try find it for you.

No worry’s me too joined to keep a eye on when people are getting theirs cards.
I’ve read somewhere on the forums that OC will be making a official queue system sometime this week which will hopefully give us something abit more concrete .

Erm I actually have no idea people from the thread have been keeping it updated.
I posted my order number and order time and the model I ordered and it was added by someone else (thank you that person)
