How come the BIGGEST RETAILER THAT WILL 100% GET IT ALL not get any lol, i pre-ordered on another site with ETA for 9th and they said they are 100% coming so its just sad on whats going on on OCUK

So you will be now posting on their forum instdead when it does not turn up?

If I don't have an estimated date by end of this week I am going to have to cancel the order tbh, its on my credit card and will have been a full month since I placed the order, and I cannot afford for the money to leave my account with no idea if I will ever recieve the card this year.

There may be other places I may have been able to pre-order which may have given me atleast an estimated shipping date, so while I very much prefer to get the Asus TUF with OCers, a complete lack of any knowledge of when it will come other than being 1041 in queue means its just not a viable option.

That is a very valid point mate, Anyone who has paid on their credit card and not able to clear it at the end of the month you will be paying whatever your card charges in interest just to lend OC £700 or more and if eventually you cancel the only winner is the card company

You'd be in the same financial position even if you did have the card. Poor financial planning if your are in that place.

Hmm, not sure why it makes a difference when you get the card. You can either afford it or not...

Guys all need to calm, down this week there will be ZERO, ZILCH, bugger all as it's Chinese national holiday, and their holidays are SERIOUS, they literally shutdown right to bare minimums the whole country STOPS!!! So everyone come back next week. No shipments will be happening anytime soon.

Do you remember when OCUK used to get enough cards, prior to launch, to make a giant throne or pyramid? Those were the days.

I know people have asked this, but, i want to keep this card for the next 2 -3 years. Will the VRAM be an issue at just 10gb?

Gamersnexus had a feature on it https://www.gamersnexus.net/hwreviews/3618-nvidia-rtx-3080-founders-edition-review-benchmarks. Basically no - fast ram can be filled quickly so you should be more concerned about bandwidth. The problem with the gtx 970 was it had 3.5gb of fast and 0.5gb of slow, so performance tanked when you started using the slow memory. 8gb is still fine for 4k.
