*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

Feel the same way. The only mention I ever see of Strix cards are the OC version, and no one can ever seem to confirm if the non OC version has even released yet.

@ASUS GPU Support , can we get an update?
What annoys me the most is that I’m supposed to get the Watchdogs bundle with it. How could they advertise that if the card isn’t even coming out before the offer expires. Just everything about my experience of ordering on release day was misleading. I fully expected to be receiving a card the next day or at least within a week or two

It is what it is. They are giving the info that they have which is more than "a competitor" has. Sounds like volume shipments are going to be mid October onwards.

Guys all need to calm, down this week there will be ZERO, ZILCH, bugger all as it's Chinese national holiday, and their holidays are SERIOUS, they literally shutdown right to bare minimums the whole country STOPS!!! So everyone come back next week. No shipments will be happening anytime soon.

Lol, palit are putting out a shipment on Friday
And do you think all the stock sent last week just took a holiday too ??

have people got official queue positions yet or are you guys all talking about the unofficial?
I believe the queue emails have been sent out, but the problem is we don't know exactly when we'll be receiving the cards. Not even an estimate. Hell, I don't know if my queue position means I won't see it till 2022 for all I know.

Well, you may have had orders cancelled for having multiple orders. I only have the one preorder with OCUK, but if I can bag an FE while I'm waiting, then I will.
We are all in the same boat, with no idea about anything really.
It's not OCUK's fault. Nvidia should be honest with the customer base and give realistic timescales from the manufacturers, but that aint gonna happen with AMD ready to pounce.

No both my previous orders were the only ones I had at the time and my current orders are all on different country stores of said retailer so they should not conflict also this retailer definitely doesnt have a 1 card per customer policy.

Here's a little food for thought.

Nvidia has pushed the launch date back for the RTX3070 by two weeks, citing as reasons "to avoid customers getting frustrated at a lack of stock".

That would imply that they feel they can build up adequate stock in the period between 15th October & the 29th. If that is sufficient time then we should certainly begin to see some very big inroads into the queue situation within the next two weeks, unless of course Nvidia have decided to concentrate on not allowing the RTX3070 to be as complete a disaster as the 3080 have been and switch production across.
It's probably unlikely they would do that given an even longer extension to the 3080 waiting times, and risking people downscaling to the 3070 or even AMD.

I would suggest than means less catastrophically embarrassing stock levels. They wont be adequate to meet demand.

In theory we should get an email after the restock tomorrow of the TUF OC with position updates, so it would be nice to see if "small" does mean somewhere in the region of 10-50. Given our experience so far I do not expect them to actually email tomorrow but here is to hoping!
