*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

Ok good to know, so when are we going to get updates on the delivery of these cards, are they delivering 50 a week, 10, 15, what's the number. I again find it very hard to believe they don't have any idea what and when they are getting stock, they dont seem to be posting much info.

They're delivering whatever gets delivered... All OCUK can do is order the cards and however much turns up on the truck is however much they get (probably get an email invoice or something the day before as well), got no control further up the chain. Given their buying power, OC might be able to put a little pressure on the distributors - but the distributors can't send what they don't have. There's limited supply all the way up the chain.

Jeez the guy has an awful lot of blather on that listing. All he needs is "Hai guthyz, I'm here to scalp k? I'm sssuuuthper trustworthy thouuugh ^^".

surely unless you actually need a new full pc the cheaper option would be to buy a 3080 of a scalper on the bay, much as i hate these scalpers
I prefer it if people had some sense and didn't buy off scalpers. This way they hopefully get left with a card they can't sell beyond retail and all they achieved was wasting their own time and hopefully money.

Is there a source for this whole "ASUS are only making the OC cards" thing?

Whilst we have seen 0 shipments of the non-OC TUF - is this just rumor-mongering for lolz or something more underhanded to differentiate their product lines? The later might be more than just ethically problematic.

I went through this nightmare exactly 12 months ago. Ordered a i9 9920x and waited nearly 3 month for delivery. Intel's fault entirely and not retail end. My patience paid off in the end as they sent me a 9940x for 9920x money. Hopefully given the lack of info regarding tuf non- o.c card shipments same will happen and I get the o.c version for less.

Oh that sucks ! I'm not sure what EVGA card to buy what one is the best is it the Ultra one with the Rainbow RGB bar ?
OC buys from a supplier. There are two shipments arriving at a competitor estimated between the 7th and 9th this week. Hopefully, that means cards will be delivered to OCs supplier. I'm waiting for the XC3 gaming.

Probably the case given I ordered a non-OC one :p. Sods law. What happens if AMD does pull a blinder on the 28th though...I can't really change, I got an X35 for a steal refurb and love it but of course it is Gsync only so nothing AMD does is going to enable the features I want (currently have a 5700xt on it as got that before the monitor, damn you NVIDIA you finally caught me because of a deal).

Gibbo says 3080 Asus TUF OC cards coming in, is Asus reading the freaking room? There's like 3x more regular Asus TUF card orders yet they're sending TUF OCs? Are you kidding me?!?!?
