i preorder an Asus GeForce RTX 3080 ROG Strix Gaming OC 5th of October at 2:15 am.
I dont know my queue nr yet but my order warehouse number is 40584xx if that helps .
Do i have to contact support in order to receive my queue nr?

Drunk ordering, hey? Always good. Your queue number is ~1241 +/- 200. You'll get an e-mail with a queue number when stock comes in (and the queue adjusts) or next week/month.

When and where did ASUS say this ? Ive still yet to see any evidence of this.

They're very big in India and the Far East, and been around for quite a while now, trouble is you need to be able to read Chinese, or other foreign language if you want to read anything about them, although there are some English language reviews on the web now.
 
I believe people are interpreting ASUS' comments a bit too literally. The impression I get is that TUF and TUF OC are being produced in somewhat equal quantities, maybe slightly more OC. Strix OC are being produced more than the non oc but there is still the non OC being produced. I cant see it making sense from a business stand point to not even produce a card, but instead produce a smaller number. I do believe tho that those of us with non OC Strix orders will be looking at November at earliest, with October being focused on TUF cards and Strix OC. But thats just my impression about this whole situation.

I thought i could snipe a card when they come in stock but i failed for the past 3 weeks so i ordered from work unfortunatelly not drunk :P was working in an out of hours service, i am a Gp , fed up better to preorder even now i do think was a better move than waiting for the stock problem to be solved eventually .
 
Still no gigabyte cards in? gb twitter said more in 7 days 6 days ago, others retailers are showing delayed shipments, I'm starting to think my position 50 in the queue is gonna be next year at this rate.
