*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

Been lurking on OC forums for a few years to now make an account. Was number "65" on the unofficial queue for Eagle OC, but the official queue stated me as no. "37". I can assume the following:
1) Unofficial calculator was marginally off or
2) There was likely a "very small" dispatch of Eagle OC cards

Can anyone confirm if they've seen a dispatch after the original cards they had in stock?
It's my understanding that the unofficial was overly inflated compared to actual orders, so everyones position regardless of card went down. Though we know at least one GB Gaming OC shipped from the owner thread. His arrived 22nd so it was likely in stock on release.

@GIGA-Man sorry to bust your chops, I / we've been fairly patient up until this point, but i suspect if shipment numbers to OcUk aren't revealed fairly soon you're going to start losing orders to cancellations. Why is there such a cloak and dagger / bait and switch mentality going on at the moment??? All I want to know is a realistic expectation of an ETA!!!! If I pre-ordered a car from VW in January, i'd at least like to know it's on a forecourt for March, or my money is walking, this should be no different!!!!

Hey Dave,

There is no big conspiracy, I’m sorry if my replies seem vague and aloof.

Obviously, we don’t want to lose your orders as the business and customer loyalty is important to myself and GIGABYTE. However, there is good reason I cannot share more detail with you (trust me, I’d love too it would make my life easier)

All cards once produced ship from either China or Taiwan, there are mixed shipments of air and sea shipments. We have shipped as many of the cards as we can via air to avoid customer delays but obviously, we cannot ship everything via air, so we also ship cards via sea and stager the delivery dates.

Currently the stock arriving to Europe needs to be split between the whole of the EMA region, that stock is then shipped to the relative countries. Once it arrives in that region the stock is divided out to a network of distribution companies. The distributors then split their allocation out to the re-sellers such as OCUK.

This is the reason the information provided by me is fairly, limited. I can only base the estimated dates on the production and shipment information.

Its why I cannot commit to exact dates or quantities. OCUK are doing their best to get the stock they can, to meet customer demand.

Hopefully, OCUK will be able to provide you with more exact info soon.

I hope you're right I have had my money down for the Xtreme since the 17th and low queue position, but Im not convinced, what makes you think the slower clocked Aorus Extreme will trump the faster Strix OC?
Bigger cooler isn't it. Almost 4 slots! If I was after a beast it's the one I would get, I thnik it will marginally help.

Sadly I'm after a small one which is why I've got the XC3 on order :)

Thank you for doing your best man, I know its probably no picnic right now. Could you fire a message upstream if possible - the xtreme version of the card - please let it drink ALL the wattage! :D

Look at the table. Clearly shows Nvidia reference with one set of MLCC's. This is the reference. The FE went and used two stacks of MLCC's. By using all Sp-Caps you're not using the reference design. The card that seemed to be most affected by it was the Zotac and that uses all Sp-Caps.

Reference is not the specs they sent out, minimum they specced is below Reference design, and as somebody said, they have to validate all designs anyway.

Hi can you tell us will be more asus tuf oc in November? Not very small amount or small amount , because when you get 10 gpu to the shipping this change nothings

You too had a TUF OC? Dispatched today?
No. I called a competitor that showed they had stock of Gigabyte Vision so chanced my arm. Purchased at 0911hrs this morning, picked and dispatched by 0952hrs. Cancelled my pre order via form on OCUK so someone will have gone up a spot.
The trouble was I just didnt know what OcUK were doing stock wise as nothing is coming out. I know this is because they dont know (or do they?) and am currious for "one of the largest providors" their information being supplied to them that in turn comes to end users is sparse at best.
Think I have been as lucky as someone finding an FE right now, especially as I am building white new PC and this is the last part to the puzzle....
