So, skipped ordering a 3080 on day 1 as I was hoping 3090 would offer a decent step up in performance. Once the 3090 benchmarks appeared on day of release I had second thoughts and couldn't bring myself around to pulling the trigger on 2 x price for 10-20% performance. This prompted me to return to the 3080 and have been observing this thread for weeks now. Now the queue system is up and running is it fair to say there's no point jumping on the preorder now? I usually buy Asus Strix but know there's will no chance until 2021 and beyond. I won't pay scalping and like most will accept a degree of gouging from companies but am I looking at no 3080's for a long time if I order today. Having sold my 2080Ti at the end of August my PC has sat redundant for a good while now - I'm used to not using it :/. With a PS5 landing next month I'm switching focus there for the time being. Do you think its best to just get an order in and wait like everyone else? I don't mind brand - most reviews seem to show cards within a few % of each other anyway.

Speaking to all board partners production volumes are expecting to ramp up towards end of the end of this month meaning deliveries arriving later this month should be a little better volume wise towards end of October with November increasing again.

guessing all the other retailers got them instead, so glad i went with the UK's biggest supplier who'll get them in first! what is an ok ammount? 100?

I'm really waiting to see whether the small amount of TUF OCs from today has arrived and when will it be shipped. And how many exactly were there

This is really good news, however what the heck is an "ok" amount?
Genuine question is there an issue with releasing official numbers of how many they have received in a batch?

My guess would be that OK falls in the 50-100 space

you ask us not call to find out updates but the last update gibbo posted was the 17 october in other thread .im in the queue and placed 1124 .i just want to ask it the for the total amount of all producers of the 3080 or just the one i purchased as in brand
