*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

Delivery amounts will increase as production ramps up. I’d say you are looking at around Christmas or maybe just after.
Card for Christmas would be nice but I know it wont happen for me. I dont need card after Christmas, well I do but Christmas is the only time of year I have some inhouse day offs.....sad face.

Nvidia said there's no supply problems though, just a demand problem. That tells us they're happy with their production rate and are just surprised at the amount of people that want Ampere cards.

So with today Ventus Update what in the scale is OK volume? We have an idea about small and very small but not OK ( do you think it is to much to ask for it to be 526 as thats the exact position i am in for my Ventus ? )

I just hope there's no more of this ^

I'm kind of hoping OCUK have a plan to fill a lot of these pre-orders before then. If they don't, they will end up in even more of a pickle.
What I'm wondering is, if you go for a 3070 pre-order, will that be allowed or will one of the orders be cancelled. Either way, it will get messy!
After the way this has been handled by OC i would probably recommend you seek your 3070 elsewhere that gets stock :)

Yay.. an "OK" amount of MSI Ventus 3080's tomorrow... I can't remember the code, but I think OK was 50-100? I mean, I'm 13 in the queue so I should be safe - be nice to get it this week ;)

BUT THERE WILL BE HELL TO PAY IF I DON'T GET MY HARIBO AGAIN!!!!!

The card sounds safe. I got fed up with it all and went the shop and bought a huge bag of Tangfastics the other day, just to make myself feel better. It helped...a bit.

Nothing was really handled badly in terms of supply chain from what we can see, rather just consumer updates where slow/sparse at the start, and that's really just due to lack of reliable information. There's certainly no evidence that the queue itself is not being faithfully fulfilled. Nowhere is going to "get stock" any faster, that's the bottom line, there's a severe shortage of supply vs a high demand, every UK retailer has large pre-order queues that almost certainly will not have general availability until way after xmas. So if you want one of these cards literally as soon as possible, then jumping on a pre-order now before even more people do, is your fastest route to purchase.

Less than 50 is small, more than 50 is average, more than 100 is big and more than 1000 is a dream.

So I'd guess OK to be 50-75?

Will OC implement an expected shipments site similar to a competitor beginning with S? It would be good to know when we can expect shipments. Queue numbers are great and I do apreciate it, but the OC procurement team must know expected shipping dates.

I rang OCUK earlier and they said they get to know 24hrs in advance. Apparently

There is no such this as a demand problem.. They should have forward planned with atleast somewhat acceptable supply to something which was obviously going to be high demand. Instead they gave plans to AIBs last min, and had like a month production of a chips. They forced the launch early to get out before AMD/the consoles and to please shareholders for reporting.
