Folks, just wondering if anyone has heard anything from Zotac or a retailer about when these cards are likely to launch?

I thought I read mid October but can't find the source now.
 
Around Mid October is what Zotac PR team told me but then again since then they removed the 3090 AMP from being a card they are making etc. So who knows whats going on with production
 
I emailed Zotac about a release for the Amp Extreme.

“Sorry, don't have any confirmed launch date.

Mid-late October sounds accurate, but I cannot officially confirm this.”

I would be delighted with late October!!
 
They've yet to provide the stock for base card on release day. What's with talk about extreme cards as they'll probs won't exist till 2021 LATE!
 
The Zotac 3080 Amp Holo has been released. It was released around 1-2 weeks earlier in Asia then Europe and around a week before Europe in North America. It seems an average card and underperforms when compared to similarly priced cards. Primarily because of its weak cooling which people have speculated is due to poor design with the additional RGB elements weakening the cooling power when compared to the Trinity.

Zotac have also removed the 3080 Amp Extreme from their website. There is still images in their generic introduction about the 3080 series but the specific product page has been removed.

The Zotac rep on reddit stated that they have been removed because the 'release date kept changing'.

I would speculate that Zotac are undertaking a redesign as the previously stated boost clock is poor and it would have been a terrible card when considering its price.

I am 5th in the queue and aren't expecting it to be released in 2020.

I have managed to pick up a 3080 Trinity which is performing decently and this will do for now.

I am disappointed in Zotac as they were solid for the 2080 series but seem to have made a huge misstep for the 30 series. They have the weakest card in the Trinity and a poor mid range card in the Amp Holo. Their top tier card is nowhere to be seen.

Hopefully they will rise like a phoenix and nail the Amp Extreme when it's finally released.

8th in the que.

I really hope after the delays and the wait that they don't ***k this up as every previous Amp Extreme ive had have had stellar silicon. When they first posted the 1800mhz boost I was disappointed being honest and the second set of renders that briefly surfaced were much the same but with a 'Powerboost' Proadlizer (For anyone who is interested in what they are https://www.nec.com/en/global/techrep/journal/g06/n05/pdf/t060514.pdf).

That all being said there's other irons in the fire as if the Ti some in anywhere close to what i paid price wise it may be a no brainer and as there's likely no sign of this till Jan at the earliest, it makes life difficult. At this point its whatever will get here first if its a 3080 it will be the Amp extreme else I may try for the Ti.

Time will tell I guess.
