I would love to move to a 4900x or 5900x whatever they call it, nice IPC gains will go well with the 3080!

I sold my 1080ti and i wish i NEVER did, you could find a 1660TI or something to do you by for now, but 2nd hand prices are through the roof. The mistake we made was selling our cards, that ship has sailed...

I sold my 1080ti for 290 and i see the guy sold it 3 weeks later for 420. Nice box and all and even used my same images!

Why my monitor wont output 144hz through hdmi. How retarded is that. 144hz only through DVI. New rtx cards do not have DVI !!!! I know monitor is old now but picture is mint and my eyes reject 60hz on a PC. Oh iiyama.....

I want to do the same, I'll just have to see what gains I can get from my 6700k @4.4ghz to the 5900x (I think they'll leave the 4000 series to their APUs).
Number 47 for TUF Non-OC so I'm hoping to have it in the next week or two...
 
Having sold my 2080ti to raise funds for the 3080, all I am left with is an rx570, guess that will have to do until I get my delivery from OC in god knows how many months.

I highly recoommend a PX277 fantastic 27" 1440p 165hz with little to no motion blur, competes with my Dell 27" TN!
It destoys older 27" 1440 Acer prediator monitor i used to own and itw as 700 quid or so!

I feel the same however OC wont bat an eyelid or care, they know they will sell all the cards regardless, so the choice you make must purley be because it's faster for you not because you want to send a message to OC.

Forget all that, DP. or HDMI 2.1 but you will need WONGA for a monitor with that.

yes but the irony of it all is if it truly is as Jensen said (shortage until 2021) nvidias high brand image will be its undoing with people willing to spend their holiday cash on consoles and just not waiting for 3000 series and opting for radeon
 
It's sickening to see how many cards are available on ebay when so many are stuck in a queue with no realistic date of when our orders will arrive.
