*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

@Lastof You can add me to your spreadsheet, I ordered a Palit Gaming Pro at 19th Sept at 21:43. Online order number OC4038*** and warehouse number 5874*** and im queue position 73

Edit, nevermind saw the link. Will add myself. Being a dunce.

I've just jumped off the pre-order bandwagon for the sake of my sanity. The obsessive refreshing is draining. Enjoy the ride if you can :)

Anyone 470+ on the ASUS TUF OC queue just moved up 1.

Well on twitter Palit said theyre sending out a shipment this Friday to UK. They said it will take 2-4 weeks so hopefully that means its a big boat with loads on. **fingers crossed**

Heres where Palit replied to me on twitter - https://twitter.com/Palit_Global/status/1313312507964977152

**Edit, added twitter link

I took this as shipment this Friday, then it would be a further 2 - 4 weeks before they restock, ready to send further stock out.

Someone asking about EVGA here's some new news today

Published by Jacob Freeman on EVGA's website is the following text:

"We have made some changes to the checkout process for EVGA.com 30 Series orders. Now we are using a queue based notification system.

To sign up, use the notification button on the product you would like to be notified for. For everyone who already used the notify button previously, you are already entered. Once product is available (and it is your turn to purchase), you will receive a secure email that will allow you to purchase the product that you received a notification for. Please note that you have 5 hours to place your order, if your order is not complete within 5 hours, the product will be released back into queue system.

Also note that your email address that was used for the notify system MUST MATCH an email that has a registered EVGA account, if an account is not available with that email, you will need to create one before you can purchase.

Also note that this system will be available for US store first and evaluating for other regions."

Seems to be their strategy for all the lesser known brands like KFA2, Inno3D and PNY

If that is the case then why in the flying **** did they put the KFA2 card on the site on day 1 and have no idea or ETA on stock from the beginning.

At first i was patient with the pre-order situation but the lack of information is starting to **** me off, 3 weeks since purchase and nothing from OCUK.

I think this is my final time i will order first from OCUK.

Nabbed a Palit at a competitor... About £60 above RRP though (and my ASUS TUF order). My heart still yearns for the ASUS TUF...

Let's see if it arrives. I'm happy, but a bit bitter sweet given it's bloody £100 above FE RRP!

If i recall,
Very small is under 10
Small is 10 to 25
Ok/average is 25 to 50
Good is 50 to 100
Big is over 100
This was in a post from the previous thread that got deleted.
But who knows at this point.

Someone quoted the above regarding biggest NVIDIA partner, and then directly used it to bash availability of ASUS products.
This seems a little disingenuous if it was aimed at me. I wasn't bashing anything other than the PR crap OCUK is pulling on their site.

OCUK Website said:
"Although we may not currently have the stock available to fulfill every order immediately, we are in the best possible position to acquire it before every other UK retailer. This means the only place to preorder right now is at Overclockers UK!"
Whilst OCUK might wish this to be true, your competitors are clearly receiving stock of cards which you aren't (eg the STRIX), which directly counters this statement. Further, continuing to push pre-orders on 3080's when there are over 8,700 cards in the queue AND taking the money up front when they know full well they won't fulfil them in the near future, makes that statement sting all the more.

Lastly, because someone is sure to say it. No, I'm not bitter about the 3080 situation. I never ordered one, never planned to, and based upon this whole mess I'll hold off ordering a 3070 as well (which was what I was interested in). I'll just continue to sit on the side lines and watch this all unfold.

Correct answer was no cards are being produced this week as its golden week so the factories are closed, so infinity amount of time.

It was a hypothetical question so there is no right or wrong answer. If a card was produced yesterday, this is tested for 4 days then sent. The 3 days was for travelling and customs clearance.
