I was 463 in the queue last week for an Msi Ventus, now I'm at 394. Guess there's been a few cancellations

The Gigabyte rep said that the shipments were split between air and sea shipments the other day. So hopefully there's a few coming soon in another shipment.
So I wasn't in a position to afford to buy a 3080 until a couple of days ago so went on and ordered a Gigabyte Eagle for no other reason than it was one of the cheaper ones and I have a Gigabyte mobo 
From browsing around these forums it appears I picked something with A) next to no delivered stock and B) a very large queue ahead of (was not given a position at order time so no idea where i am in the queue).
Out of curiousity I rang OC today and asked if I was to go for a 3080, which one would be most likely to become available the quickest and was told no matter which one I order it wouldn't come until January to February so I have cancelled my order and will take my chances with the 3070 release which was my original plan.
TLDR; if you order now, it won't arrive until well into the new year.

If there isn't some significant movement in the next 2 weeks in gonna cancel. Nvidia really messed up this launch badly.
If I'm gonna have to wait I might as well get my money back and see what AMD are doing.

Better than every other AIB so far. 50 Ventus this week, 30 Trios last week. Not sure we've seen any of the other more than 15 apart from the 25ish Zotacs shipping today. MSI, despite the recent ebay controversy, seem to be doing better than others.

Another competitor has removed the Strix OC from there site. Not a good sign

Hi overclockers, i know your working tirelessly to get graphics cards in. But is there any estimated time when you will be recieving the Strix 3080 OC.

Zotac OC queue position 6th just got the email.
At least that's 6 cards. Nothing this week for the TUF non-oc.

Has anyone that ordered a Gigabyte gaming oc recieved a new queue position email today please?
Got my Ventus all set up and I'm so impressed with it, the card is fantastic and much quieter than my previous 5700xt, definitely worth the wait! It's been a pleasure being on this forum with you chaps, good luck on your waits and I hope it isn't anywhere near as long as expected!
