If you can't be constructive, feel free to keep your mouth shut. At this point, hundreds of people have been conned into preorders that just don't seem to be appearing. It's a **** take. "we've had a small amount of XYZ" is starting to get annoying. Just BE HONEST WITH US!!!!



This is my point. Where's our PROMISED weekly update????? It's been a week since I got my email, where the **** is my update?
You are meant to get an updated queue number after every shipment of your card.
 
Yeah. They were defintely 3080's.

"We shipped a small amount of the following RTX 3080 cards to customers yesterday. MSI Ventus 3X OC, Gigabyte Aorus Master, Gigabyte Vision OC, Gigabyte Gaming OC, Asus TUF Gaming OC. The following small amount of RTX 3090 cards also shipped to customers yesterday. Asus TUF Gaming OC and MSI Ventus 3X OC".
 
See why I'm / we're annoyed??? We're promised updates, and get NOTHING!. At this point, it's lip service to keep us from cancelling orders. As soon as I can bag a card from elsewhere I will, then I can be done With OcUk and this entire ****show.

I think I have a better chance elsewhere, I've seen people post here about ordering well after the 17th from competitors but getting cards sooner, I've got scanners set up for just about every UK website, I even helped a few people bag 3090's the other day, my time will come. And probably faster than I'll get here!

Well yeah I will be regularly checking to see if I can bag a card elsewhere but you have to be very lucky, unless you pay the extortionate ebay prices. It wouldn't be so bad if you paid before shipment, but you have to pay upfront. I don't want to cancel and risk not getting it this year. I am queue number 159, so I am hoping for a 3080 before cyberpunk is released.
 
I'm starting to regret going all-in on the 3080. I went for a G-Sync monitor in preparation (an Acer Predator X34P), so I'm stuck with Nvidia now. If I'd known how much of a *********** this launch would be, I'd have waited to see what AMD had to offer.

I'm still 230th in the queue for an Asus TUF non-OC weeks after launch, with no clue as to when I'll even get it. I honestly get the feeling I won't see it until 2021! I'll keep my place in line, as I feel like it's the only way I'll even see one any time soon, but will try my luck elsewhere if something suddenly pops up as 'in stock' (wishful thinking, I know.)

Nvidia totally ****** this one up, and I really hope OCUK can manage to get a bunch more stock in soon.

The way things are looking I'm not expecting to get mine til at least november/december and I'll almost certainly be in first batch
 
How many cards OC UK have accept at one time. Surely they could not process 1000 even if they had too. There must be limited number of people working in goods in. And unlikely that whoever courier they use would collect 1000 cards for delivery. Lets be real here. Ps could OC UK just send Asus list of customers, pay for shipping and have Asus deliver these cards direct to.customer. would be nice, no?

No one said they got a notification so I guess we'll never know, however someone in the 90s forum has a gig oc shipped so I put 2 and 2 together

Correct me if I'm wrong but OcUK haven't got a gun to your head making you wait for a graphics card. If you don't like the situation ask for refund.

I keep seeing people mentioning this, but, I don't actually remember seeing that being promised. Can anyone link me where they promised it?

The queue email promised "an update after each shipment with your new position", which they have been doing. I can't see any mention of a weekly update either in the official thread or the FAQ

Now, I think they should be doing two to three updates a week, basically just passing on the info we've been gathering ourselves, but I haven't actually seen any promised.

Perhaps some people haven't realised that due to an alleged 'pandemic' many people are being forced to work from home, and there is also a degree of understaffing for all kinds of reasons, perhaps information isn't as easy to pass on as it might normally be?

They've SHIPPED the Gaming OC. They've NOT updated Q positions. I'm still at #75 after the shipments. No new email.

Edit: they actually said in the email that they'd update after every shipment. 1st class liars.

Edit 2: You are currently in queue position 75. Please keep checking your emails, we will send an update after each shipment with your new position.

Yeah but there has been a shipment of mine and still don't have an updated queue number. Unless Gibbo was wrong and Gigabyte gaming wasn't even shipped out. I dunno. It's all confusing.

I'm sceptical that they actually did ship any. If they did, it was less than 5, and with no queue update... I wonder if Gibbo just made a mistake about which cards actually arrived and left.

Then again, I think the Zotac OC queue hasn't updated yet either, and 26ish of them left yesterday, so they do seem hit and miss on the queue updates.
