*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

Seems people have also forgotten Golden Week and mid Autumn festival shutting China down for 8 days, today being the first day back to work for themsince that, hardly surprising there's no info as all the producers are closed.

Asus, Gigabyte, Palit, MSI are all headquartered in Taiwan. EVGA and PNY are US based. While their factories may be in China, I don't see any of these company's headquarters celebrating the founding of the People's Republic of China. So they should be able to provide information. Also, we should be feeling the effect of golden week early next week because of shipping delays.

Well they've already told you, because the website absolutely died because of the volume of people trying to buy the GPUs, they weren't able to update it on time. Whining on a forum won't make your GPU magically appear. You have three options here. You either wait patiently until you get your GPU, or you cancel and try to buy it somewhere else. The third option is continuosly talking **** on the forums. Whichever floats your boat. Alls i'm saying is getting so emotionally invested in this is absolutely not healthy. Plus everyone else who just wants to have a chat about the stock situation has to read your temper tantrums.

Nobody knew there would be stock shortages when we paid for them, genius.

While that's true Foxconn who are board stuffing are in China as are most heatsink makers. Getting information out of a closed factory is nigh on impossible and even competitors are noting this is going to be an issue. Trouble is that what little information there is. is not being passed to customers perhaps because of staffing issues. I think a bigger issue is that OCUK's IT doesn't allow its Customer service people to see a whole picture so when customers call they can't say what the true position is.

As a STRIX OC purchaser I'm incredibly worried about how long it's going to take for OC to get them, I'm 36th in queue but according to the response I got from them they have orders for the STRIX (and other) cards but have none confirmed shipping so there's no ETA, I've been mostly patient but it's really sad when you're right at the front of the line but the doors aren't opening.

Asus used to have manufacturing facilities in Taiwan (Taipei, Luzhu, Nangang, Guishan), mainland China (Suzhou, Chongqing), Mexico (Ciudad Juárez) and the Czech Republic (Ostrava), but I don't know which do what i.e card assembly or just packaging. Also their HQs should operate as usual since they're scattered around the globe, but no update on theirs products.
Those who use Foxconn to assembly their cards may not have access to any information at all since it is mainland China + looking at the fact that foxconn have limited production capacity it may take a while to assemble sufficient amount of pcb with NV's chips.

Also NV response about FE is absolutely lame. I wanted one and it seems like they didn't figure out the basic thing for this launch of their best visually looking product - logistics & distribution... Lol. Moreover even if they'll find a new partner to sell & distribute FE it still doesn't specify what kind of quantity we should expected to be available from them,

Well, it seems that NV bested AMD even in paper launches.

Feeling the effect of golden week early next week because of shipping delays? Has golden week been the last 2 months or am I missing something?

which one cos im 3rd???

i had a email today lol, both of us 3rd

You are currently in position 3 for the PNY card. We have to politely ask customers to please not call or email just to ask for updated queue positions after being given their queue, especially if you've already received an email giving you a queue position, as it's just adding to the pressure on the phone lines and adding to the rapidly growing webnote queue.
