They might not want to develop a reputation of being a purveyor to scalpers in the way that nvidia did.

You seem to feel that scalping is perfectly reasonable business. And sure, it is legal... for now! The reality is that scalping undermines market efficiency. In other sectors, where scalping was more prevalent, it is no longer legal and for good reason.

They will let you know your queue position via email whenever it changes. Until then, we all have three options:

1. Cancel order
2. Hold on to the order and wait it out
3. Hold on to the order but look elsewhere in the hope that you can bag one (obviously depends on financial circumstances)
 
Just seen another person order from a competitor for next day delivery this time though im keeping my eyes wide open if anyone finds em somewhere with stock and wants to help a brother out dm me on Instagram @ethan_fort
 
No updates on anything, simple :) Listen guys. By the time 'anyone' gets around to shipping, you will wish you had the 20Gb version anyway, which is due very soon, so if one has to wait, it may as well be that ;)

lets all spend about 1k or 1100 pounds for a 20gb version with the way prices are. nvidia win ether way buy a 3080 for 700+ or a 20gb for 1k + such a good deal

Better than spending 1600 on a 3090 though eh?, and I will hazard a guess @ the 3080 20Gb version being in the 900-1000 range, which will still be good value, as the 3090 offers nothing but the extra Vram (24) and 10-15% performance over the 3080, which is quite ludicrous when you come to think of it, for double the cost.

i agree with the 3090:) but the 3090 does look really good on paper ticks all the right boxes but in real world terms its not that much over a 3080 . ive been quite lucky i have a 3080 myself and just a little over 700 in the grand scheem of things im really happy with that. i dont know what a 3080 20gb will be like vs my 10gb one but pushing 1k is to much for me

I hope my 3080 trio will fit in this case as this build was not cheap...

Really starting to question OCs ability to obtain and ship the Strix cards when other etailers are getting them and shipping them. Starting to see people in the UK get them on various forums but yet OC have shipped none.
