What a relief, all this waiting. Randomly checking websites throughout the day, including the Nvidia website, which was an act of pure desperation, finally paid off.
 
Well, I just got a stock alert from another supplier ( I’ll not mention any names ) saying they have MSI Gaming Trio 3090’s and Ventus in stock for delivery tomorrow. This is the second time in as many weeks this particular supplier has notified me that had stock available. So that means they have cleared their back orders and have generally available stock. Clearly they are selling quite quickly but it does beg the question why they seem to be getting much more stock than OC.
 
Ditto - bought without really putting brain into gear - I assume the Founders Edition is a pretty good purchase over most of the other AIB ones?
 
Been readying this forum for awhile now, currently 53 for the Asus Strix non oc.

It does feel like OC have fallen out with their suppliers or don’t have any buying power at the moment as it seems like they’re getting pretty much scraps compared to other places

OCUK don't seam to have many of any of the 3000s being delivered

LOL, same here.. although I have researched and I really do want the strix oc now, which I have on pre-order for xmas 2021.. because it has one more hdmi connection, which I fully intend on utilising. But maybe an hdmi switch will suffice.

I won't be scalping though, so fear not peeps. But I'm not cancelling my pre-order just yet either, not that it matters, I'm quite high in the queue so have plenty of time before it gets anywhere close to being fulfilled, by which time, I assume there will be plenty of stock to go around anyway.

From what I have read, most AIB boards run cooler by about 10 degrees. Still, I'm somewhat excited now :D
 
I'm not sure saying OCers is powerless on the market is entirely fair tbh.

That retailer that had a few different cards up for sale today didn't have a queue system (you had click on notify and were entered into a raffle to get the card) and have only had one or 2 cards become available since launch while OCers has been sending a (very) few here and there the past weeks.

The FE cards is a whole different conversation.
 
I was on a darn conf call when that FE dropped. At the current rate ocuk are getting cards I am tempted to move on. Let’s see if the strix oc condition gets better this week

You won't. Its not listed on their websites, you go via nvidia's website (when in stock) and it transfers the basket to their chosen partner's website. So if its an FE you want, then you still need to be checking nvidia's store.
