*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3090 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

At this point I think I’ll get the PS5 before the 3090 Strix OC, if you are over 100 in the queue see you in 2021 by then we may get our Card LOL.

Based on what? A lot of the updates don't get posted until literally the day before the stock arrives

Based on here and 3 other sites who do give the customer advanced orders.

Other shops have 3090 EVGA\MSI and another brand coming in this week.
Just got to do your home work.

Have these sites had the exact same deliveries as OCUK so far? I really don't want to do any more work than I do already

I mean at least one other site with a big table has it as TBC and a post above the table from yesterday saying they are working to confirm the TBCs for this week.

"Of course, very popular cards from the bigger brands such as Asus, EVGA, Gigabyte and MSI will take longer for backorders to be fulfilled and presently those manufacturers cannot give us shipping info far enough in advance to know if they can clear all our backorders off in 2020"

Well that's crap.
It literally just means that cards that had more orders will be harder to clear the backlog of. This isn't news

Yep, does come across as greedy. "We have no stock, no updates, thousands of people waiting, but yep, give us your money!"
Yeah I think they should probably just close pre orders once they reach a certain amount. So keep it open for less popular cards but stop taking preorders for the more popular.
I mean OC say they have fulfilled 500 3080’s the 3080 Strix oc wait list on its own is at least 1000 and the 3090 Strix oc is at least 500 so their delivered numbers are drops in a ocean.

If you do give them your money there's no pretense that there's no supply issue. It's 100% on you

We all know what it means.
Still does not help anyone.
True it doesn't help anyone, but the way you say "well that's crap" sounds like it's some sort of revelation

I get what your saying but I ordered on launch knowing it was going to be a wait as it was already known Asus was late to the party but I didn't realise it would be THIS long when I ordered.
If you ordered after launch then yeah you probably already knew, especially if you read how many roughly were on a list on here something like the 3090 Strix OC was in the 500's before any had been sent.

I think when there's possibly a 3 month wait for someone to receive a product that they pay for today and there's no obvious communication or warning when they place said order then we are bordering on some dodgy possibly unethical business practices here. Not everyone frequents the OC forums, many people just order from the website in good faith, as far as I know there are no warnings there saying you will be looking at a very long wait.

Personally, I'm number 2 for the 3090 Strix so mine will be here sooner than most. I just feel sorry for the poor people ordering today or recently.
