It would be okay, if it was a small amount, for instance, I have an Analogue Pocket on preorder, wont see that until March+ next year, but was only 200ish, but there were limited amounts, and stopped going on sale as soon as they sold out.

But id rather be in a queue than constantly checking sites all the time. Its a no win situation really, i'm a patient man, so not too bothered. Plus ive used OC before many times, no problems.

i don’t think they should stop preorders, they should just publish the number in each queue. So people know they might have a wait on their hands
 
Anyone heard anything about Gigabyte stock? Seems like nothing has been received, awaiting a 3090 extreme. Been 14 in the queue for a while I suspect. I'm currently running UHD 630, so ya - no gaming. But I did sell my 1080 for a good price, however the wait is now killing me lol.

Seems like a cycle of deliveries going out on Fridays for different brands each weeks. how ever if it helps you i have seen else where gigabyte cards coming in to stock 5th November. But we have faith in oc to get them sooner so we are waiting like lambs .

I know what my luck is like, the moment I jump ship the delivery will arrive. So I will wait, but all the updates are mostly around other brands. I just wondered if Gigabyte had issues or were waiting for outcome of capacitor gate to get the Extreme's out.

I'm waiting for the Gigabyte Aorus Xtreme too, #20. Pretty fed up with the lack of info on the card and not a single update on production and shipping (even from gigabyte i believe).
Not really blaming OC, I'm content waiting, but wouldn't mind a snippet of info...

Makes sense as there would be even less incentive to get the 3090 if this was released. The profit margin on the 3090 must be huge and I can't see Nvidia wanting to persuade potential buyers to get something else anytime soon.

I have been the wrong end of bankruptcy - out - name change - restart company - write off debt and Bob is you uncle.
The Inland Revenue and the banks get first dibs on what's left of the company's assets (usually bugger all if they're smart about it)
The little guys get NOTHING, ever.
Be a piece of pee to whizz the queue money out to Gran Cayman declare bankruptcy and disappear to live happily off the proceeds and barely a crime committed.
Happens all the time.
No way am I am intimating that OC plan such a dastardly deed but it does take place.

I wouldn't jump ship m8.Trust me when i say this everyone here had their moments. When Amd announces their Gpus next week the market is gona have a lot of movement i reckon they are holding back for a reason the flood gates are going to open . Jensen's jacket is going to catch fire soon
 
I don't agree with a lot of the waffle some people post on this Forum but I too have been patiently waiting since my order of a Strix 3090 on launch day and find it strange that direct competitors of OCUK are getting more regular shipments of the cards as per a certain update from yesterday...

20/10/20 - Today we have received shipments from ASUS and MSI for both RTX 3080 and 3090. We will be shipping these out by the end of the day. On top of those we have also added 6 new confirmed shipments to the tables from EVGA, GIGABYTE & ZOTAC covering this week and next week. We continue to chase down the outstanding TBC shipments to give you the best information we can.

Seems a certain other company is getting regular shipments of the Gigabyte cards, something isn't right here...

I’ve ordered the same card as you from the site you mention. After yesterday’s delivery I moved up 3 places. And the total Asus backlog changed by 14 across 4 card types.
So yesterday’s was not a big delivery.
 
It was still a delivery though, as opposed to probably 1 announcement of 3090 Asus stock from OCUK. Don't get me wrong, I love OCUK, my money always goes to these guys because the support and customer service is always top notch but this experience with the new GPU's so far has not been up to my expectations compared to those who cannot be named, and I havent ordered anything from them in the last few years
 
I was lucky enough to get a 3090FE and cancelled my strix OC. it wont effect many people i was 331 on the queue at the time. good luck getting one everyone
