*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

Gibbo just posted another update and no wow factor was found. Zero mention of tuf cards or Asus in general. I am an Asus fan but this is taking the p*ss

Finally some eagle stock, but at position 486 in the Q, its gonna be a loooooong wait if its just going to be 50 cards per week. Let's hope things pick up for everyone.

@GIGA-Man a competitor has ETA for Gigabyte cards between yesterday and tomorrow. Does that apply to OC UK or are they going to miss out on delivery this week? Also, do you have any ETA for Gigabyte Gaming OC? I'm 54th in the queue for that card. Do you think there are chances I'll get my card on the soonest shipment or are shipments to OC UK smaller than that?

We split all the shipments so it's the same. however being 54th you will most likely be waiting a little longer, sorry.

Don't think it will be too much longer though.

Fear not - the Asus cards have been shipped too...

You clearly haven't made many big mistakes in your life then. I pop in every now and again to read comments like yours - this thread is hilarious!!

Glad our misery is hilarious, lol.

Seriously though, I've been having a rough time recently, and my mental health hasn't been great at all. In fact, it's been awful. It sounds sad, but an RTX 3080 was genuinely one of the only things I had to look forward to for the foreseeable, and even that couldn't go right.

Anyway, just giving my two pence on the situation. I know there's a time and a place for this discussion, and it's not here

Know the feeling but look at it OUR WAY now you can look forward to getting 3080 for longer !!!! As I said waiting is probobly more fuin thatn when i actually get the card lol

Who's more mature, the people asking where their products are or the one spending their time mocking them for doing it?
Who cares whos mature ?? If delivers Fun 1000% worth it in corvid world where fun got banned.

I feel like ordering an Asus TUF RTX 3080 from OCUK is one of the biggest mistakes of my life :(

More due late next week.

Yesterday Giga-Man, you told me that the production shortages were the same as everyone else and to look to the tech website, but there is alas no concensus about why this has happened.

On theory is that Nvidia catastrophically underestimated demand and failed to schedule sufficient production to meet that demand. Is that a credible statement?

Or another statement to make is that Nvidia make awesome products and they themselves did not realise how popular it would be. It is all about the spin you see :p

It would have been difficult given the influence the miners had on the sales of the GTX10xx series, covid lockdown, and the failure of the RTX20xx series to make any kind of accurate forecast. One of those times when using forums and listening to gamers would perhaps have given a better idea of what sales were going to be like.

Even some sentiment analysis could've gotten that though...
