Is the gigabyte Aorus master a good card? I had my heart set on a founders edition but another retailer has these coming in on or around the 5th of November and I managed to get one of the guys In store to forward order for me(1st person to order) so should get it when the batch comes in

You really should read the article you link before insulting people. The 20gb and 16gb versions of the 3080 and 3070 that were reportedly under development have been cancelled. The standard 3070 launch (which is the card in question here) is still going to be 29th as previously stated.

In regards to the ASUS 3080 10GB TUF GAMING OC (even though I have ordered a non-OC)...
I came across a listing on a famous auction site. It was for the above mentioned card, obtained via OCUK's likely biggest competitor (the printer copier one)
But the guy who did the listing did something silly. He posted a picture of the postage box complete with his own name, address and DHL labels.
However, it showed that ASUS really are shipping their cards directly from China to customers, using DHL.

It makes me wonder if OCUK will elect to use this method?
