That would be because they shipped from ASIA today not from Overclockers to you ;)
Your change in position is likely because of people cancelling orders. I'm in the top 100 for the Gaming Trio and my position only went down my 4 places.
 
51 to 43 for Palit 3080 Gaming Pro OC, getting there lol can only hope for nov 19 delivery. seems like OCUK has received ~18 cards/cancellations since 28th September
 
Strange how OC are fully aware they are not receiving kfa2 cards anytime soon yet preorders are still open. Surely it should be removed and people who ordered these cards be offered a different brand. The same thing is happening with the competition who have received shipment of cards not listen and are currently being offered to customers in the queue.

They did state that, it's just a lot of people probably read the first sentence then lost their xxxx thinking they were going to get their card soon but failed to see it said leaving Asia not Overclockers..
 
If i had the option of both freesync/g sync, like new monitors do, might of held out for Navi but no option, ain't binning a great 4k 32 inch monitor, already 600 odd quid in the red! (And thats just the 3080!)
 
I'm giving Asus one more week to get some tuf cards out for someone. I honestly think that Asus are nerfing the tuf series with a bios flash just to justify strix pricing and that is why none are shipping. I'm under no illusion I'm seeing my GPU this year but not a single tuf card dispatched in the u.k in four weeks nearly five. Something fishy is going on. If someone takes delivery of a tuf 3080 in the next week I will hold fast but beyond that I'm jumping ship

3080 Gaming Trio - Large amount shopping 23rd with a small additional amount shipping 31st
3080 Ventus - OK amount shipping from MSI factory 31st, due with us a week later.

That does not say that they're being shipped from Asia, so it's open to interpretation.

As I said, I'm not fussed... I'm a professional and I know how things work. So that'll be it from me until I get another update email.

I have been a silent reader on this forum and ordered from OCUK for the first time. Needless to say that this whole experience has been the worst I have ever had. Managed to ordered the tuf non OC card on the 17th with a price hike of 50£,no codes as advertised and it wasn't even a pre-order at that time.
I frankly think OCUK couldn't handle it worse and I don't think they can take even constructive criticism well as reflected in their multiple defensive posts.

I just wanted an opinion from the members as I am quite close to cancel my order my current queue is 670.

I work full time in the NHS and one of the frontline doctors in this pandemic. I was planning to have some time for myself during my annual leave which has all been consumed waiting.. so it wouldn't matter much whenever my order arrives if at all.

Looking for your suggestions
 
Can we all stop getting so excited? I realise everyone is frustrated and excited to get their new toys but this is just getting a little silly.
My history. I formally worked in one of the big computer component wholesalers in the UK. (In fact I had many dealings with orders from OcUK in their Esnet days.)
I currently have absolutely no connection to OcUK or the former wholesaler i used to work for as the company no longer exists as a computer component seller.

Perhaps a little perspective on what exactly is going on right now.

OcUK, along with every other seller in the world, will currently be on the phone constantly to all the wholesalers begging for stock.
These wholesalers and every other wholesaler, will also be on the phone to manufacturers, resellers, importers etc. desperately begging for stock.
It is not OcUK's fault there is no stock. Getting sh@tty with them will not help the issue or make the cards come any sooner.

As soon as stock is available they will send it out.

Instead of bitching let everyone use the opportunity to save up for a decent 144hz 4k gaming monitor with HDR to justify the £900 we just wasted on a toy.

p.s. I'm currently stuck with an old 1070ti. You think you desperately need a new GFX? lol

They deal with the distributor rather than the manufacturer. I admit that in my mind I though the distributor was in our region, EU, with a staging warehouse
. But now I think of it, I don't have evidence for this. Also I expect shipping means by air, not ship?
