What watch do you wear?

Because nostaglia... and i wreck them a lot at work.

With so many watches coming between December and next October I have sacked off a BB58 idea, even sitting in a waiting queue lol. Marloe have 3 I really like with the first coming in December, Oris will have their new movement in a new watch hopefully by summer... It might end up being an expensive year :o

Unrealted question time, does anyone else find their straps feel looser and tighter throughout the day? On the same hole this evening my rubber straps feel more snug on the wrist with a firm tightness which is fine as it's still comfortable but definitely not the slack-snugness I'd normally feel during the day. This is the reason many bracelets don't work for me and a reason why I sorely miss the auto-adjusting clasp of the Tudor Pelagos.

Yup, your wrist is constantly changing size as a result of temperature/blood flow changes etc. Some bracelets do have a tiny spring in the clasp that automatically adjusts for this, but many don't.

Explains why I like rubber straps so much hah what with being pliable/flexible. Gotta say I'm loving the tropic straps here. No matter what watch I get next it will have a tropic strap on it unless the strap it comes with is of equal quality and comfort from here on. I now need to factor in £60 for a strap with any watch lol.

Comfortable straps aren't they!
Very much so. The one that came with it is very thick and I never liked how much the tail had to stick out because of my skinny wrists but this is perfect. I tried it on a black tropic a while back but it didn't look right for some reason. Think it needed the orange contrast highlights of the Barton.

Missed the bronze, sold out in 4 hours!

Yep I got it for the Morar black edition thinking the orange would match with the orange seconds hand but ended up feeling the military green elite matched better all round so the black and orange strap sat in the box all the itme.

Picked up a Tudor Black Bay Harrods edition for someone I know today (he couldn't make the trip to London due to COVID-19), I have to say visually it looks fantastic!

If only it wasn't so thick and so massive on the wrist as a result, I would have gone for one myself.

The non-58 Black bays are just too chunky to be honest! BB58 (39mm) is the absolute perfect size for a 3 hander diver.

On another note, I can get up to 20% off for Ernest Jones, Goldsmiths, G-Shock etc so if anyone is buying a piece from a store let me know and I'll see if that store is part of the programme and share a code.

Raaaaah 20% that's really tempting...but I must be reasonable and resist the temptation!

Already have a new Ryzen 5800X and a Big Navi graphics card on my list of next things to buy :D

Any recommendations for a comfortable watch strap guys? The bracelet on my omega is not a comfortable fit to the point I am considering selling it, it seems as if my wrist is sat between the 2 sizes so neither adjustment is comfortable.
Are the omega straps worth looking at?

20 % off a grand Seiko would be quite decent. :o:p

Its just that polished left side profile which makes it look larger than it is. Sure, it IS a thicc boi but I think its fine when its on the wrist. I've got the S&G version but yet to try the bb58 in person, so i'll reserve full judgement until then.

Loving my AW S5...which I've recently upgraded to after having owned the S1, S3 and S4

Non-smart option currently sitting in my drawer is a Citizen Ecodrive
