If they haven't contributed at all then yeah.

If they have fallen on hard times they would get support.

Maybe try reading one sentence stopping and understanding it before proceeding to the next.

It was a general query if I'm honest. Without looking at them myself, i couldn't tell you if they split it by home, area office etc.

It just wouldn't surprise me if it all comes under the MP though. After all, they "run" the local area department as such.

Expenses usually include office and staffing costs, it's one of the reasons why London/big city based MPs tend to have much higher claimed expenses.

I’m still surprised that even with our welfare state, and in this case child credit, that so many with either jobs or benefits can’t afford food for their children. I’d be curious to know how many also have non-essential items in their life like smart phones etc. Doesn’t make child poverty right and there’ll always be rare cases that aren’t accounted for, but surely these are in the minority in a state that pays so much into its welfare state already. We can’t bail every single person out to the point where they have no sense of or requirement for self responsibility.
