Crazy man, MSI seem to be the only cards that have had a decent amount......about to turn up....any day now :p

Hi guys,

I have one question that I may have missed in the past few pages, were the EVGA pre-orders open at any point on OC?
I can see they are unavailable now, but I was wonderig if it's OC that cut the pre-orders for this model until they can fullfill the existing ones (as some competitors do) or if they just have never given the opportunity of pre-purchasing these.

Thanks,

Yes, I ordered the 3080 FTW3 at 15:18 on the 17th. I am 18th in the queue. Zero comms on anything around EVGA on the official thread.

Someone tell me why i was expecting my inno x3 before november, literally, I remember somewhere gibbo saying that we should have the cards before the end of october?
Edit: found what he said
Inno3D are shipping us a close to large shipment of 3080's end of this week / early next week, ETA will be before end of this month, on the shipment shall be Twin X2 OC, X3 and X4 3080's
Since then when he came on the forum he said that the shipment had been split up, and if you look at the inno X2 OC thread you will see quite a few have had their cards already. The X3 and X4 cards (50 X3 and 15 X4) were with the freight forwarder in HK and expected to follow a week later which therefore should be this week. Of course it all depends on things like customs clearance being speedy.

Yeah I really don't know what to do at this point. I'm 1st in the queue for a Zotac non-oc but I have been since my order went in at 14:04 on release day... I've tried getting info from Zotac and had nothing back, its non existent from OC too, £710 down and after 5 and a half weeks we've had absolutely ZERO info or updates.

Yeah, you know I'm not normally one to moan and really havnt been. But this is starting to grate on me as a total mess up. Not really blaming ocuk here but the whole situation

I've been pretty patient but the whole situation is properly starting to **** me off. Do I cancel and try my luck elsewhere? Then what if stock magically appears? Never buying a GPU like this on launch ever again.

Nvidia are pretty consistent with when they add stock. Might be worth having a look over there about 1pm.
Yeah, it's so random though. Could literally be any day or time. I'm on it all day today and not moving from the PC. I can't bare another week of little to no news....Especially when I'm 600 in the queue :D

I'm 79 in queue for x3, pray there has been 29 cancellation since Friday but that is dreaming!!!

Thank you, I find it odd how they have cut the pre-orders just for this brand. It's not like orders from other brands are getting fulfilled either (e.g. ASUS).
I wonder if that is hiding a bigger problem with EVGA and OC.

Just a little update, a few of use managed to snag a aorus master the other night from a competitor, they claimed they were in stock and here I set shipping for today well after contacting them, there like a oh no it was a preorder and we SHOULD be shipping before end nov still took 905 quid off me quick enough based on lies, I know overclockers are taking some flak and some of it rightly so but the shady tactics aren’t exclusive.

I thought the story with those was that it said 30 Nov but then you could select next day shipping. I got stung with the Zotac last night, they said not in stock and I can wait or get refund. Same end of Nov date so I cancelled.

Hmmm, lets hope a retail governing body starts to take an interest in this approach. Doesnt feel right that retailers can miss represent what they actually have for sale in order to secure customers cash. Wishful thinking though I fear.
