*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

I've pre-ordered a Zotac OC from another supplier now in parallel with an Asus TUF non-OC from here. The Zotac is due end of November and I have a horrible feeling that's going to turn up first, but I really hope the ASUS does as I'd rather have that ultimately!
Is this for the Zotac AMP holo?

I think they started stating it on their website (i think so, unless i missed it earlier), Week by week the numbers increase...this week is over 300 cards coming of various brands...

Yeah, what they've actually done is give an estimate, that is not a guarantee and chances are they won't get that many. On top of that there's no breakdown at all of what it's going to be, the information given is too little and too speculative to be of any real use.

Nvidia making out this thing is harder to supply than the Wii back in 06-07. Please give me a break.

I got a Wii on release date. And a 970. And a 1070. Wasn't in a rush for any card before so didn't bother ordering early so no idea what the experience was like for those releases. My first nVidia card was a Geforce 256, and I've had at least one of every generation since then (apart from Fermi and the 2x00 series).

The worst part of all of it is that they're so damn secretive, and enforce the secrecy on others. I can understand this in relation to product details, but they would be doing much better if they just opened up a little, told how many they'd shipped, and what they were expecting to ship over the comming weeks. Because they are a production led company and not marketing led, they are not thinking with a customer facing mindset, they are thinking in terms of hardware developers needing to guard everything from everyone.

I agree, Also everyone on here should remember that everything you are going through is because you are allowing them to do it to you, you can vote with your feet.

For those wondering i cancelled my order using webnote at 6am this morning. I paid by amazon pay and now have confirmation of refund so refunds are pretty quick and hassle free it seems. At least with this payment method :)

Wow a even smaller company than OCUK now has just listed (though out of stock, likely going put some up soon) the 3080 FE. Not one of the usual competitors a smaller company. How do they have them but OCUK don't lol
