I don't see a lot of benefits and disadvantages to either so what do you think? I am going to have a large motherboard with water cooling (not AIO). The size difference does not seem that different except for the 300mm width of the 1000D being much larger and having two fan columns. Does this small increase in all dimensions help? I am not going to be using a 2nd motherboard in the 1000D.

Now, it might seem strange, but what would you choose for a super-silent, water-cooled machine? and Why?

Lian-Li PC-V3000WX
Corsair Obsidian 1000D
Phanteks Enthoo Elite

Lian-Li is alu but narrow, Obsidian is steel, but spacious, Elite is... expensive and nice I guess?

which is the difference between these 3>?> in terms of space, water cooling options,, material quality, and etc?

Hello
My take on these 3:
Lian Li - probably the best built out of the three. I have a Lian-Li PC011 D & It's a very well built case for the money & has been been designed by a renowned overclocker called DeBauer (he has a youtube channel FYI) for watercooling rigs.

Corsair - It looks overengineered to me. OCUK wont send it out automatically if you order it, they would prefer store collection. the weight of the case is 30KG! That's more than a bag of cement! So for Health & Safety reasons is the reason for collection as a case that weight could put someones back out.

Phanteks - Nice but you could build a decent budget gaming rig for that money. I'm not telling you how to spend your money but Phanteks do make decent watercooling cases for a 1/3rd of the price of the Elite & is about 6" shorter.

In short I wouldnt buy any of those three if money is no object. My money would go on one of these three:

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £647.91 (includes shipping: £28.02)

may I ask why do you need such a gigantic case? I understand large motherboard but all 3 of them are just massive ..
You mean EATX? or bigger?

I did check the specs on these cases before replying. If I had to choose out of the 3 I would pick the Lian-li.

It's build quality. It's also easy to take to bits. No Sharp edges according to it's spec page on Lian-li's website. That's a plus from me as I've lost count the amount of times I've cut myself on sharp case edges when building a from scratch PC, which I've done since 2003 & upgrades to pre-builts since 1994.
