*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

To be fair, all AIB's have been blaming Nvidia for the lack of chips so it adds up.
I'm not saying it doesn't add up. And I believe what Gibbo is saying. But he can't expect people not to act nervous and angry if his info and the AIB infos don't match: someone is lying, and we are not in a position to determine who's the liar. HE is the one in a position to go tell the AIB to straighten their communication, so he better do that rather than cry that we do not believe his words and twist what he says. We, on the other hand, have no definitive proof that his words are more true than the words from the company that actually builds these cards.

I know that OCUK did that and that, kept pre-orders up etc.
Ultimately, it's not their fault. I know how is to chase companies for updates and receive nothing back.
For those that used rent money or they don't like to have money stuck like this, there's always the refund option.

I know very well this is frustrating. I ordered on the 17th, CC was already paid for that month, I got paid end of September and apparently chances are very slim for me to receive anything this week and it's again the end of another month.
Money comes and goes I guess. Don't worry, be happy :)
What a positive response... You are of course right. If it wasn't for the fact I had stupidly used Hitachi finance as my buying option, I would cancel, I guess I just have to wait.

I ised the same for my TUF non OC originally, then asked to change to a Palit and was told no as it messes up their queue, so if i wanted to change id have to cancel and re apply on finance again at detriment to my credit rating. Ive actually cancelled and used my 0% credit card but its still left a mark on my credit rating obviously.

So I guess are these being shipped by Donkey, Ship or Airmail. Hopefully some decent news will come soon everyone

They use a freight forwarding service, so maybe they wait until enough stock builds up for OCUK, or for others before shipping. As this is a direct import by OCUK the nearest large airport would be Manchester some 20 minutes drive, but it's not really a freight terminal, more passengers, so I don't know where they ship to. The last one did clear to stock very quickly once it was sent though.

An online retailer in Australia (a really good one that started out just doing gear for PC cases) stated in an email that they are unlikely going to get any ASUS TUF 3080 cards until 2021!
Sigh... Looks like Gibbo is right. ASUS are the ones lying here. Covering up for Nvidia's mess of a launch.
