3070 prices creeping up daily...

500+ for a 3070. You gotta be a pretty desperate degenerate to pay that amount rather than wait and get a 3080 (or AMD equiv) when the hype dies down.

What time are FE cards likely to go live on the nvidia site? Although I suspect they'll sell out in 5 seconds flat.
Asus always take the **** with their pricing, and less said about ocuk "tax" the better as we always get the fabled tales of yore trotted out about how they bought them at a higher price, or how brexit is effecting them, or how the dollar jumped .000001% 30 seconds ago so the prices need to have an extra £40 slapped onto them. With the 3080 people that actually managed to buy them noted the price went up by the time they got to the payment portion of the checkout.

Got my eye on a couple of RTX 2080 ti's at the moment, priced at less than £500 for the time being.
Both know some people will pay...

Anyone mad enough to be buying one of these tomorrow should take note that some customers reported the 3080 price increasing substantially between basket and checkout on launch day.
There are also many who paid for next day DPD delivery and still waiting for the van to show up 6 weeks later.
The community needs to wise up.

I'm expecting the cheapest 3070 to be atleast £560 by the time the sales go live. And people will still climb over eachother to get one. Not sure what this mass hysteria is all about.
They did a very good job with the hype / marketing. And companies are selling them over rrp just because they know they'll sell out regardless of what price they stick on them. Bought a used pascal card and going to wait until well into next year to see what other cards become available.

I didn't bother with Turing and wouldn't have bothered with Ampere if I hadn't got lucky with the FE. My Xbox Series X pre order is still scheduled for delivery and that was the route I was going down if I couldn't get a 3080 at MSRP.

Not sure what happened but there were prices and "add to basket" buttons on all of them earlier on OCUK. Not anymore though. Were they available to buy earlier?
Edit: Ah this was on the mobile site. The add to basket buttons do nothing.
Release is on the 29th.
I avoided Turing and have now waited nearly 4 and a half years to upgrade. My games struggle a bit at my preferred settings.
Will try and grab an FE as £469 isn’t tooo bad and it seems the FE coolers can’t really be beaten at this size. I have an ITX case.
Want a card pre Xmas.
I’ve waited for reviews too.
Am I believing the hype and suffering from FOMO?

The whole Ampwhere? launch has been a scam from The Jacket's kitchen right up to clicking the basket and checking out, a scam pure and simple. Shamelessly disengenuous and greedy behaviour from NV and their retailers.
