*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

Sorry I am late to the race, I know there are 773 pages on this thread... Can someone just tell me... If I hit order on a Asus GeForce RTX 3080 TUF Gaming 10GB GDDR6X PCI-Express Graphics Card.
How long will I be waiting realistically before it shows up at my house? What is the latest number of people in a queue and someone here who has been tracking it, how many per day/week roughly seem to be pushing out?
Ball park figure, does it look like it will take 2 months to get it or 6 months?

Sorry if this has been answered 100 times, am not willing to look through 773 pages.
Wondering if I wait for the AMD announcement on Wednesday before I decide to purchase, or look for other next day options idk. I really just want myself a 3080 end of story.
I will hit order if I know I can get it before 2021. If it will take longer than that, I am sceptical if it is a good idea or not. I have 2 games dev jobs that are very demanding, I need something fast.
Cheers

According to Gibbo's latest update "An OK amount of ASUS TUF 3080 OC are shipping at the end of this week". OK amount = about 50. Being position 24 in the queue, my day has suddenly become more joyful!
I feel you mate. I'm in top 10 queue. So happy. Should get sent out this week Friday hopefully. Or Monday cannot wait. No offence to every one here. But I cannot wait to not have to come back to this thread lol.
Ok amount=around 50 units. According to Gibbo. So you should be good too. I've got next day delivery DPD too. Wouldn't like to take any risks with other delivery companies. DPD is amazing. Can track the van 1 hour before delivery. And can speak to driver. And they call if your not in. Fingers crossed we will get cards this weekend.

I'm going to go the AMD route I think. Will wait to see what they show tomorrow but I'm only after a card that can push 3440 x 1440 on ultra settings so if their card can do that then I'll go to Radeon for the first time in over 10 years..
You are in the same position as me. I hope they **** on Nvidia's fire...They deserve it.

Anyone know usually how long it takes for the shipments to reach OCUK re: the MSI cards that were shipped out to them on Friday? Being in the double digits now, I'm anxious to know if the large shipment will be enough for mine to be among them, or if I'll have to wait for the shipment being sent out to OCUK this Friday.

Still waiting on my TUF (although got alerts set up for TUF, some MSI and FE elsewhere too). But in the mean time the Aorus Master I snagged is working nicely, just a little to big for me and a bit OTT as I'm planning to water cool anyway. No point ripping off a £200 cooler :P Got a friend who's gonna take it off my hands when I do get the card I want but for now...

(pls ignore the bad cabling, got some extensions on the way to tidy it up a bit! and the dust on the case is just because I've not taken off the sticky stuff yet :P)

Really hard to say given the information we have. I believe there are a couple thousands people in a queue before you. We have seen almost no shipment for ASUS. So given the current filling rate it could easily take 6 months but we have reason to believe shipments will ramp up by the end of 2020 and that could reduce this queue.

In that case, what brand seems to be shipping / moving the most? I am not stuck to ASUS, comfortable buying other brands

I don't think you'll be getting it this year if you order right now. I'm like 440 deep in the queue and from what I remember there are around 1.5-2k people in the TUF non OC queue alone. I'm not expecting my card this year either so that should be a good indicator of what things are looking like. But if you needed a ball park figure I'd say closer to 6 months. Stock issues are expected to continue in early 2021.

Some people got lucky with some less famous brand like Palit/Zotac lately. Otherwise a couple of msi should be here end of this week but let's be honest all of this is irrelevant to you, because whatever order coming in the next few weeks is just gonna affect the 100ish first person in the queue. So I have literally no idea what will the filling rate per constructor look like when we reach the 3000th person.

No one can give you specifics or really even a ball park. I just cancelled my order of the Asus Tuf after placing it on the 5th of October, I was queue position 1767 and there was no movement at all from then to when I cancelled. Asus are prioritising the OC so it's unlikely the queue will move very much at all for who knows how long. Reading the update thread it looks like Overclockers have shipped 37 non OC cards to date.

If you pre-order it you likely won't be receiving it this year, maybe even most of next year.

I decided to keep my cash in my bank and just try my luck at other sites as I think by the time you would get it in that queue you would probably have been able to buy it elsewhere with little hassle much sooner.

Yeah I think if AMD play this right and their card is available at launch as well as doing the things it seems to do then they could really do damage to NVIDIA here.

I'm 41 years old, and I can honestly say in all my years buying things this is the most shambolic mess I've ever seen.
