Trust me, I'm deep into the old BMW scene... I talk to plenty of people who fall into either of those racial categories but are not "bruvs" and they are all very much aware of the problem, and use the term themselves. :p

What is their ethnicity got to do with anything? I can assure you there are other ethnicities who also behave, dress and have the same attitudes, why make it a race thing?
 
Hi, welcome to the world. You must be new? It doesn't matter how many greeks or ex blocks do the same, skin tone is key :) how else do we know who to keep our daughters away from?
 
The fact that the majority of people to whom that description applies are from a racial minority, means it is a race thing. They have their own little bubble and they spend most of their time inside it.

If they are selling cars/parts in one of the trading groups on Facebook, heaven help you if you're a whitey. Half of them aren't interested in dealing with you or will take a sour tone with you. Prices magically inflate, and they are guarded and aggressive when you meet them to complete the purchase.

Thats them being racist towards white people. But nobody talks about that do they. The second someone says something like "you lot are always like this" they will jump down your throat and call you every name under the sun for being racist towards them. Pot, kettle.

On a couple of occasions I've actually asked an Asian friend to buy something for me, and then I pay them for it instead. It is much easier. Even though they aren't part of the group of "bruvs" and are a decent upstanding member of society, they are allowed to infiltrate the group because of their skin colour and foreign sounding name.

Anyway, these are dangerous waters which I usually stay away from... Not sure why I've chosen now to call it out... :p

Also have a look into population statistics and see if there is any correlation - perhaps then you'll realise its not actually down to race for the most part :)
 
As long as there is no malice there shouldn't really be an issue - perspectives become clouded when discussed with the ignorant or easily offendable.
 
My group of friends are all racist towards each other. :p

Sometimes the line between banter and too-far is skirted, like when someone said one of my my Muslim friends would wake up with "a rasher of bacon on his pillow", making reference to the mafia putting a horses head on someones pillow... He found it funny but the rest of us were like "holy ****" :eek: :D
 
Haha jokes are jokes until a pigs head ends up inside the mosque lol

Between friends is how it should be, no malice no problem in my eyes.

Nope.

It’s a bit sad tbh, people still going on about it on his insta/fb comments.

There was a snippet where dmo was saying wouldn’t mind doing a 1v1 charity boxing match. You have to remember these two were friends and supported each other, and I will stand by my opinion that Ricky has some snakes in his camp that hyped all this up.
