Its pretty mad that some of use who ordered right away on release day are still waiting after all this time yet people are able to buy for next day delivery tomorrow. I mean its great for them but it doesnt really make me want to ever pre-order anything again, its actually counter productive at this point :D

Tbf the site had measures to stop bots, website used had random letters and was a completely new page and it also had 2 capture events before letting you buy. Was literally a matter of lots of people getting one instead of bots.

Ye and only people taht had option to buy card ware ones with direct link.

Sounds more to me like there were 13, and 7 of them either went to Staff or for prebuild systems as we've always suspected, then someone tried to cover it up!

Quite a funny conversation since that's what I asked in the phone call. "Did some of the cards when into prebuilds? Even though we were informed that there is a different batch for that?". He said "Yeah, I'm not sure". Who responds like that to this question :D. Shouldn't it be a straight no?

Most people just got a blank area I think, most who bought got the direct link from those who posted on Reddit or Discord, maybe copying the link for them caused it to delete from nvidia page, most never saw a buy button.

Maybe depend on browser, using Edge here, no button showed up.
Will use Chrome for it from now on.

I'm not on reddit or discord.

I'm using DISTILL on *CHROME* (not edge, not firefox < THEY may not work as well?)

I got the URL by clicking on NVIDIA's buy now button (with distill to alert me their page had changed). Most people are looking at the wrong page, or monitoring the wrong page on NVIDIA (you MUST monitor or refresh the 'see all buying choices' page NOT the main/single product page for 3080) and have FINGERS IN EARS on here saying there was NO UPDATE to NVIDIA'S site.

I just went into a long post to try and help people out , with how I just got an FE with nothing more than distill, no hunting for URLs or watching reddit/discord.

But if people aren't willing to believe then I guess they'll just keep spreading misinformation to others, a shame cos then others may miss out. My big post is further back on how I got one and it most DEF came from NVIDIA's own buy now link (which went to the competitors RANDOM URL page).

Decided this information would be useful for you guys as well since there is not a good way to get any full truth from the information we get on the official forums.

Decided to give my 2 cents and call the customer service regarding the SMALL and VERY SMALL quantities issue.

- I was told there were actually 13 cards
- Turns out maybe there were not 13 cards; there were actually 13 NON-OC cards and there were indeed just 6 cards for the OC
- When asked why did the forum post mentions a SMALL quantity when 6 is a VERY small one I was told that Gibbo was probably reffering to OC + Non-OC (doesn't really make sense since there were no NON-OC updates up till now and I'm sure the NON-OC people would have liked to have this information)

If there were 13 non OC why does no one have it? I'm 99% sure the guy was talking about TUF non OC and not Strix...

sure, I'm trying to help others get one and nobody cares. Only you don't care because you're annoyed with the world. I've been sat here LIKE YOu guys all month at 900,.800,,700 in the stupid ASUS non OC tuf queue and NEVER logged in to whinge, moan and cry like you lot. Finally I have some actual info to help others with and most of you ignore it, others like you just take pot shots.
