You know what? I think I'm cancelling and waiting for the 6800XT.

Right folks, everyone in the Gigabyte RTX 3080 Gaming OC queue can go ahead and cancel and switch to AMD 6800XT. Yup, go on you know you want to!
Seriously, just DO IT!![]()
Shuuuush!Well that big navi hype wasn't really as good as a lot of the moaners on here were hyping about.
Watching it back and I still didn't spot this price$649
Is it though? It seems to be performing marginally better than a 3090 (non-third party benchmarks mind you) and it's got 8GB less VRAM (also GDDR6 not GDDR6X), which is a huge buzzkill for a $1000 GPU.$1k for the 6900xt which is on par with the 3090 looooool

Honestly I expected a good bit lower price point, its only 50 less than the Nvidia competition and with previous massive mess-ups in drivers, Ill pass
Stability with nvidia or take a punt at amd never know there drivers may work this timeOk so I'm not really sure what to do now since it's my first time building, should I stay with the stix 3080 oc or get the 6800xt?
I can see the 6800 XT starting at over £800 here, and precious little mention of raytracing performance. Seems like a bad deal tbhThought they might have gone in a bit more aggressively. 6900XT could be competitive, though I expect a TI to be announced at that price point soon
I will be keeping mine, good presentation though.Impresive AMD presentation.... how many will keep preorders now I wonder...
