*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

Do you have an Asus Strix 3080 OC and are you ahead of position 1000. If yes, then yes cancel it.

Muhahaha, one step closer :p
Nope I am 11 in queue for the Inno3D Twin X2 OC 3080 and only last week was the very first batch of 20pcs so who knows when the next will be , I’m debating cancelling and getting an AMD gpu but I’ve waited so ******* long I don’t want to sit in a queue again, I expected my card October now it’s November and if I wanna get AMD I won’t get it til new year

Most people just got a blank area I think, most who bought got the direct link from those who posted on Reddit or Discord, maybe copying the link for them caused it to delete from nvidia page, most never saw a buy button.

Maybe depend on browser, using Edge here, no button showed up.
Will use Chrome for it from now on.
I used Chrome. I had no out of stock showing or a buy button literally just the price showing. I tried two different computers, one had just the price the other still said out of stock

That's not how it went for the 3800 prices. It should (emphasis on should) be about £625. Whether anywhere actually sells one for that price is another matter.
Guess we'll see how it goes. At 600+ in the queue for an Eagle OC, there's no chance my 3080 will be delivered before Radeon pre-orders open, so I still have options.

Frankly Nvidia have sold me fresh air to date, so I'd love to jump if it makes sense. But I'm not going to spite myself

Also I don’t have £1000’s of pounds to spend making double orders , I went all out on the 3080 and have nothing left so it’s all or nothing

i shall be canceling my 3080 master from a competitor soon as theres no value in spending 900 quid when a 6900xt is likely to be about 50 quid more and il be getting a 5900x which could be a killer combo.

Conversation between Oveclockers buyer and MSI rep........

‘Yesterday I had £1.5 Million quid worth of pre-orders for the 3080 Trio and a bunch of impatient customer spamming our boards’...
Oh that’s great, well done your our best supplier.

‘Today I had to offer £1 million quids worth of refunds following excitement about AMD’s next offering...’
Oh ****, cant you offer them a sandwich and refreshment while they wait?

‘Get me those ******* cards before we lose any more money’!
Sorry we couldnt organise ****-up in a brewery. Computer says no......

But always remember to be polite.

$1k for the 6900xt which is on par with the 3090 looooool

Well so their slide makes out. Lets hold judgement until the benchmarks drop.

Was that including the boost you get from "rage mode" and combo with 5000 series CPU's? I assume so.

It was still a 16GB card yes? It will be £1000 or there about which is still better value than the 3090.

Lets see how Nvidia react now!

Still waiting on the tuf I assume?

Yeah. I put in a web note a few days ago asking if I could move the other stuff into a different order without impacting my queue. They said that was fine and dispatched the extras before I could even order the other stuff I wanted, so I've got another order coming tomorrow... their loss I guess lol although would've been nice to get everything today
_______

Think @Gibbo will update the thread at all today? We know people have had cards dispatched, would be nice to have confirmation on which ones...

By NVIDIA getting stock out would probably be a good start.
