*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

Well so their slide makes out. Lets hold judgement until the benchmarks drop.

Was that including the boost you get from "rage mode" and combo with 5000 series CPU's? I assume so.

It was still a 16GB card yes? It will be £1000 or there about which is still better value than the 3090.

Lets see how Nvidia react now!
I'm assuming panic followed by an unexpected fire and an insurance claim

the problem now is with the number of people who choose to cancel there orders this will put massive strain on the accounts departments regarding refunds and OCUK will be under even more pressure, with all the backorders they have allowed.
I don't think i will consider cancelling with a queue of 105 for msi X trio, but for people in the 500+ ranges it could be pandemonium!

Yes we know its not the retailers fault NVidia couldn't supply the demand, but the pre orders 1k+ well...

Yes it included rage mode and memory sharing.
Realistically, they seem to have slotted into a price/performance between the 3800 and 3900 which is pretty smart.

Yeah I don't really care what stress OCUK get, it's their fault for still taking pre orders.

OCUK are crying right now trying to respond to all the cancellation requests

The unfortunate situation that OcUK will find themselves in, is that each refund they give, OcUK will take a hit on the processing fees, as companies will not give them the fees back, which is a tad unfair on Ocuk....but also a downside of over selling.

if only i didnt have a Gsynch monitor...

Yes me too. I'm also think about getting a OLED with Gsync too so they are crafty barstewards in this respect.

Temps will be interesting on these cards as will the drivers. If AMD have cleaned up their act regarding drivers and temps they could be onto a winner.

paypal Amazon pay etc all do though so the fee loss could be a lot smaller then you think

It’s what they deserve for the shady business practises they have been operating

i shall be canceling my 3080 master from a competitor soon as theres no value in spending 900 quid when a 6900xt is likely to be about 50 quid more and il be getting a 5900x which could be a killer combo.
The official arous UK twitter account update on stock...masters this week VERY LIMITED....its actually getting worse

---- CUSTOMER SUPPORT INFORMATION ----
-- ASUS STRIX OC and NON-OC --

Decided this information would be useful for you guys as well since there is not a good way to get any full truth from the information we get on the official forums.

Decided to give my 2 cents and call the customer service regarding the SMALL and VERY SMALL quantities issue.

- I was told there were actually 13 cards
- Turns out maybe there were not 13 cards; there were actually 13 NON-OC cards and there were indeed just 6 cards for the OC
- When asked why did the forum post mentions a SMALL quantity when 6 is a VERY small one I was told that Gibbo was probably reffering to OC + Non-OC (doesn't really make sense since there were no NON-OC updates up till now and I'm sure the NON-OC people would have liked to have this information)

I still have to see a non-oc 3080 strix anywhere. No reviewer got their hands on it yet. Probably not even in production and they say they got 7 units today :).
